I thought that was Nash's job... Unless I'm misremembering things.

Couple of bookkeeping notes: Ked Peddah should be 107/100, 22 from the annual roll for a non affiliate and 25 from prisoner exchange (2315.Q2.M2 arcadian crisis) with Licori
Laio 111/100 +25 from event (2315.Q2.M1 captains log)
Ashidi 50/100 in the end the vote was to only push the Yrillians, Ashidi were supposed to be strikethrough
Question: Laio and Ked Peddah, are they affiliates now?
You forgot the Gretarians. Poor doggies.IF those numbers are correct, then we have only 4 targets for push (Yrillians, Tauni, Obar, and Ashidi). High probability we can pick up at least 1 affiliate, maybe more if we get good rolls and the free diplomatic roll lands well. Yrillians should hit >300 relations, too, which may kick off an event chain or at least strengthen our ties a little much. Given that we OOC know that the Cardassian war is probably not for a bit, we may have the opportunity to actually pull the Yrillians to our side before the war kicks off if we keep pushing.
Yeah, it is actually kind of nice to have easier choices. Also Ked Peddah and Laio would be valid targets for a diplo push if we want to try to edge them closer to 300.IF those numbers are correct, then we have only 4 targets for push (Yrillians, Tauni, Obar, and Ashidi). Well if Sydraxia breaks the right way we may be able to help them this coming snakepit. I am hoping we get some good information on the situation there.
Bets that the overlords of the Tauni were a race of bodyjacking parasitic eels using the Tauni for hosts?
Nobody will take that bet. I bet.Bets that the overlords of the Tauni were a race of bodyjacking parasitic eels using the Tauni for hosts?

Oh come now, there won't be that many.... hmm, wait a sec.Eh... We're about to get an enormous bolus of members coming up in 2317. Getting races to 100 is important, but I'm happy to let automatic rolls and Captain's Log events push them up the rest of the way.
Progress on the Romulan-Klingon war seems pointless to me. They aren't even in a formal state of war yet, just some minor skirmishing. Next year there will be more information to go over.
Man, what the heck is with this intel report vote?
We're asking for useless reports again. You know that we're going to be updated generally on the Klingon/Romulan war anyway right? We've gotten that intelligence every time it comes up. And asking for a status update is not actionable anyway.
And what's wrong with the regular old diplomatic posture? That's the first thing I'd want out of the Sydraxians, and it would include exactly the same update on the civil strife plus more useful information. Heck, the civil strife could be over by Q4 and then the report is just a nothing report again.
Also, if we vote for Cardassian Tactics we should order a second Cardassian report to keep us up-to-date on fleets. We got shipbuilding last time, let's get fleet strength now. If we combine that with a GBZ strength we'd have a good idea what portion of their fleet they're committing.
