Hey @OneirosTheWriter I know you went ahead and deducted crew this quarter, but are you sure this is correct? By my count we started the Renaissance prototype in 2309.Q4, right after we finished the Research. It's supposed to take 18 quarters to complete, so it ETC should be 2314.Q2, shouldn't it? That's how I've been tracking it.
Hmm, yes it should be, I clipped a month off the production rate somewhere along the line. I'll still keep the crew furnishing step here to save doing it all again next turn.

Oh now I remember. Starfleet command was the predecessor to Star Trek Online IIRC. If we could build a Miranda class version of that ship we could Macross missile massacre our enemies. Unfortunately its to late to do it to the Cardassians.

If you really want to Macross missile swarm, you want to go all the way back to the paper Star Fleet Battles game, where the Kzin had even more missile/drone options.

This is Star Trek. American history only.
NONSENSE! GLORIOUS IRONCLAD CONNIEBEE HUASCAR FOR LATINA STARFLEET ADMIRAL.

And we'll just keep going from there. :p

[Why yes, I am the straight man, why do you ask? Someone's gotta be.]

You joke, but "Honor Harrington on the Honor Harrington Class SuperDreadnought Honor Harrington" This ridiculousness is a solved problem.
Solved, sort of, but not solved satisfactorily. Poor Honor almost died of embarrassment on the spot.

He doesn't get a lot of attention because A. he isn't a white European, and B. shortly after his death the Ming started getting raided by the Manchu and Yuan Mongols and they stopped funding expeditions. So while his achievements were impressive by themselves, no one tried to follow up on them so they didn't have the lasting impact on the world like Columbus or Magellan. But it's still an interesting piece of history and I've been petitioning for an Oriental named Explorer for a while. I've never gotten any traction with Mikasa, so I figured I'd give this one a go.
Tell you what, I'll support Zheng He as soon as we get one explorer for every member world. Seriously, I'll back you all the way on that.

I suspect there will be a lot of demand to name the second Ambassador the Miracht, if we haven't already given an Excelsior that name again by then.

Or if, Qute forbid, something happens to the Enterprise-B... then it becomes obvious what we end up naming the second Ambassador.

And @Goat ... Enterprise are quite simply exceptions to normal rules. You gotta have an Enterprise.

The Tellarites just named their new Excelsior the Miracht-Agrad though. Might be a bit weird to have two Federation ships with names that close. Admittedly, I'm pretty sure one of the Rigellian Turtleships is also named Endurance so we may have crossed that line already.

Well, that may not be our fault since the ship in question may well predate Rigellian membership, but the Miracht thing? Okay, noted. I missed that, sorry.

At least the turtleship is a different class.
