As far as I understand, Veb's and my vote do the same up to the point the Pleiades get here. My vote then is to be the voice of reason to help the angry Pleiades not do anything rash, and treat Hijiri by the same standards we've chose the past update.

Veb's vote is more involved, suggesting solutions. And checking Hijiri's Witch name.

If I'm reading everything right.

Personally, I think there's enough drama fodder for an update, and depending on how things unfold, we might be called to give an opinion, and we might get a break to voting for that.

I can't support this claim, but I think we're fine just seeing how the Hijiri situation develops for now, just stepping in to keep things calm and considerate of Hijiri's situation.

To clarify, is the 'house arrest' talking point re: asking her to stay in Mitakihara, or here? Given that the conflict here seems to be 'she wants out, at least some of the Pleiades want to keep her here against her will', the latter might well be counterproductive.
 
Well, this raises and interesting point: what about her parents? Does she have any? If so, house arrest and taking her to Mitakihara will both be... complicated. And was she okay with just leaving them behind while she went on the run?

Was there any mention of a family in PMKM?

It's fine. We have an exact duplicate of her handy already.

We just re-insert Niko into her family with orders to maintain deep cover.

Pretty small differences, but eeh this felt a touch better. Except one issue... @Onmur is there any reason to /not/ add a witch-name check while we're cleansing her gem anyways, or otherwise when possible? Evil Nuts are seemingly still in play if I understand (seen confusion on whether thats Yuuri's power or Hijiri's) along with any other mess. And if she's an exact copy, and Niko is headed here.... we don't need them tussling in a dust-cloud then both claiming to be Niko xD
 
Not perfectly happy with anything so I mixed things up. A lot of Onmur's vote, and Kaizuki's suggestions, a variant on Godwinson's and some of my own.

Edited out ordering the search to continue, just left the status update. We're treating this as Kazumi's ballpark.

Nixed, "She did shoot at us" since it seems highly likely to devolve into argumentation.

"Ask about Yuuri" and "Consult the Pleiades" pulled from Kaizuki's suggestions. Added suggesting Antimagic enchantment to the second, since it would serve as a way to seal magic while letting her move around a bit more freely.

Heavily generalized the point about Hijiri and Niko for space reasons.

EDIT: For reference, it is mostly meant to refer to ourselves but I know for a fact that it's late enough that my mind is likely on it's way out for the day.

And I'm having doubts about telling Hijiri what Niko's Wish was now.

We are kinda treating this as a interrogation and, as such, actually asking Hijiri for information is going to be important for verifying her truthfulness and as a way to show the Saints that, yes, she's being trustworthy. (Or, conversely, that she's not, should things fall that way.)

In addition, it's also just plain useful for catching Anri.
 
Another thing. We told Niko we'd try to find out why Hijiri Wished.

Should we address that beyond 'Yuuri might be behind this'?
