Well, if things don't go smoothly, I figure we'd get a break to voting. I expect it'll most likely happen, so voting for the next actions after that it's just planning for future updates.

Moving it to, say, after homework time is an option. I don't think I want to postpone this any further than that, though.

After homework or away from the others would be better yes. Please keep in mind where everyone is and what they're doing while we're having this talk with Sayaka. To me this is rather awkward, having us and Kazumi throwing up a privacy field then pulling (I think?) just Sayaka and Sabrina into it?

Is everyone else just staying outside of it standing awkwardly? We're they pulled into the field too? Are we revealing to the Pleides our meta knowledge? What exactly are we intending here?

-[] Bring up the idea of telling the adults about magic, and even using magic to raise funds for meguca care.
[] Once everyone's done, ask Sayaka and Kazumi to try copying your Privacy Field. Make one.
-[] Bring everyone into the Privacy Field. Tell Sayaka, Hitomi, and the Pleiades about your metaknowledge.
-[] Apologize to Sayaka and Hitomi for having kept this from them. Answer any question they have.
-[] Once done, ask to talk privately with Sayaka only.
-[] Ask if there's anyone she wants to tell you. If there's nothing, just get rid of the Privacy Field.

I am entirely prepared to eat the crow egg that gets on my face, but I still think this outside-context Sayaka idea is a hilarious red herring. I mean, they all already know about our rather impressive brain damage tendencies, so at worst everyone'll get some good yuks out of it, but it's at our expense.

Homura knows about them too, right? If it comes down to it, we can just tell everyone we know to send us both a brainmail as soon as she's spotted aaaaand stop. Hamerutime!

I don't believe Homura would consider it an imposition to remove the threat of the local meguca murderhobo and infinite time stop means we can effectively appear instantly to interfere. Surround Souju with a solid blob of Grief ("Not touching you, not touching you!") and they won't even be able to react (or use the nuts if they have them) before time resumes.

What to do once they're in custody... that's the hard part. My first impulses all involve mailing their gems to the Marianas Trench or an active volcano or various inhumane experiments involving soul gems in microwaves or hydraulic presses...

Jeeze. We're going to need to set up facilities for our little shadow society pretty fast unless we want to lock her soul gem in Mami's medicine cabinet.

Yeah I don't like the timing. Yes there's a point to be made about procrastination but the metabomb is a big deal and we really should have our friends in on this before we drop it. I'm not expecting as big a blow up as the Oriko reveal but... yeah imo this needs some planning and coordination.

While I agree on the general principle, I'm dubious about our ability to actually do this.

It would require we vote to talk with the others in private at some point, either in a Privacy Field, or in timestop, to tell them about us wanting to tell Sayaka about the metabomb, then waiting and metabombing Sayaka later.

This thread has a history of problems not making preparations for... most things. So what worries me how long we've put this off, and how often we just don't make efforts to prepare for future actions... which leads to more procrastination.



In order to not procrastinate on this further, and not leaving Sayaka out of the loop longer, couldn't we ask Homura for a quick timestop with Mami and Madoka, ask them about Metabombing Sayaka and Hitomi, then doing it if they agree?

We could ask them before or after homework happens?

Actually I rather like this. Timestop convo when Homu, Mami and Madoka are around? Both for coordination and also bringing Madoka in on it.
