@DeadmanwalkingXI I can potentially set up some natural hurdles, knock some trees down when they get here to break up the ranks and such, or set up some natural covering.

Solid call, we'll definitely do that. I'd like to know where we're fighting them first, though, if possible. The flying scouts should be quick.

Oh right, I *can* fly but it's not subtle.

We're not really aiming for subtle here. If you don't want to I won't force you, but it'd be good.

Mechanics of Group Fights
Group Fighting is, unfortunately, not something that is going to be as smooth as I would like.

Fortunately, fights in this time period were very often 'one-and-done', so we can spend as much time as we like on a single fight and not have it drag out the whole dealio.

As such, when the defenders of Rekavidr meet their foes, I will break it down into small group fighting and one-v-whatever encounters simply so I can handle it all. At the end of a day/series of fights, I will give the commanders—who, by default, include Hersirs and the Jarl—a breakdown of the day's fighting.

Hersirs, you are allowed to assign deputies and subordinates.

I recommend that the commanders organize warriors into groups and assign them objectives, if only to make things more fun for everyone involved.

They're adaptive. Poison Kunna worked normally on them to start with, but it no longer either cures or senses the poison properly.

Huh.

This is concerning as fuck.

This However-

an army of Skeletons

Yes

their weapons clubs of bone.

YES

There are too many to count. At the very least, two-hundred.

Y E S!

OUR BATTLE SHALL BE LEGENDARY!

[X] BJORN BJARNESON MOUNTS UPON HIS BONE RAPTOR STEED AND RIDES OUT TO BEGIN SKIRMISHING OPERATIONS, SWINGING BY RAGNARR LAUGHING MANICALLY ON HIS WAY TO HIS NEW MATERIALS!

The great thing about being a Projection/Telekinetic Focused Bone Kunna user is that I already tested my ability to manipulate animated bones when we first stuck our nose into where these guys probably came from!

Information is the priority. If it doesn't jeopardize that feel free.

OOCly: I knew we should have gone back to the Skele-Cave, but this is going to be so much fun!

Someone should talk to Gudrun Ravensight and the other seidr-workers about seeing if they can create some manner of magic to prevent the skeletons from reassembling after we break them apart.

Fantastic

[X] Kare Sky Dancer's Skeleton Action: observe the skeleton army's advance paying particular attention to whether they do anything to the terrain around them.
As they advance I will fire Thunder Shots from half a mile away in that air, void stepping down into the rainforest if they respond to the hail of exploding arrows before popping up in a different area and repeating the process. If there are any obvious leaders in the army I will instead shoot them with Full Power Armor Piercing Shots before switching back to shooting at the army once I cannot fire at them for any reason.
I'm also going to aggressively prioritize shooting the shit out of any members of the army which come close to my house.

I also have a Muck Kunna so I might be able to make some sort of swampy/muddy terrane to slow some of the army down. Also can probably throw muck if these things actually need there "eyes" to see.

Current plan is "Reconnaissance In Force", also known as "Steiner Scout Lance", also known as "Bjarneson and Player got such a high at the idea of all this Glory that Bjarneson has kinda run off to see how many skeletons he can solo before he decides he needs to come back to base".

Bjarneson and Player have maybe gotten a bit arrogant after the Time Gators.

You're off plan, but not in a way Ragnarr cares about strategically. If you succeed, great. Try not to die.

[X] Njal hurries Gefjosa to the village for protection and starts getting ready for combat.

[X] Oddr spends his time before the battle making actual physical arrows to control in the close range until the Hersir and his officers say otherwise.

[X] Grid Frostdottir Scouting Action
-[X] First create multiple Ice Swords and give them agmundr to use. Then launch into the sky with her ice wings and speed over with momentum kunna to the draugr army and check their numbers, how their interacting with their surroundings, what the terrain is like between them and the village, which part of the village will point of contact be, and if they are destroying anything on their March. She will protect her self with a floating ice shield and momentum kunna and stay a distance in the air. If she starts getting attacked in the air, she will Void Step away from the army and spores back to the village to report. If she gets all the information she's looking for, she will speed back to the village.

Who all are scouting by air?

I am.
