@I.F. Ister
Valo will take the feathers, bones, and organ

Grid will take the Skull, eyes, and skin

And Kare will take the heart and glands

And we will give the blood to the seeress for the upgrade, and I'll pay her the blood in the coming winter

SO! My Njord-Blood hint was "They'll come from the waters"; IDK if that's in reference to the Crabs, to Drauger, to Enemy stuff, or to something else. It is why I'll be spending the next couple turns investing in Seaside defenses.

Look at their sheets.

No brakes, all gas.

"I didn't know who'd take it, but I knew it'd be fast. Didn't think it'd be that fast! Sky-Dancer!"
"Thanks, I figured that if she had time to speed herself up, mess with my mind and blast me with ice, and all the rest then I'd almost certainly lose, so really, it was either going to end like this or I was going to get wrecked in a few seconds."

Compilation of Valo Actions
[X] Valo Halvarson
-[X] Major Action: Hunt down The Void Eagle after making preparations. Combined action with Kare & Grid
-[X] Passive Action: Hunt Prep - Net making with small wooden rings woven in with Runes (Seeress seidr promised); Rune's will, combined say: He-who-in-pride-flies-unfettered be snared by Net-Holder's humble twine. (Reference to Njord being the god of wind)

-[X] Passive Action: Have Halvar Sunshaft and Thrall Charlotte farm a plot of Golden Grass, hopefully fuelled with Fish-Guts and Bones
-[X] Passive Action: Maintain the smokehouse, and upgrade the Basic House by making the base stone floor - combined action with Thrall and Halvar
-[X] Passive Action: Scout the sea close to my land; While doing following
-[X] Passive Action: With the net from the Hunt; remake the runes to say thus: "Let those caught in Void's-bane enter a sleep as deep as the Halls of Njord" (trying to make those that are caught inside fall asleep)
-[X] Passive Action: Using The Re-runed Hunt net, no runes, fish; use a boat if there is available if not, walk into the sea and catch with net and spear.
-[X] Go to the Shapecrafter and ask him to examine the Void Eagle's Organ in exchange for either: It's implantation or the ability to breath on both land and sea
-[X] Preserve the Bones and Feathers from the hunt - Saving for a Void Eagle Bone-Ash Spear, and for REALLY good arrows

The judges have convened on the matter of dibs in an incursion to our lands. After a quick look at both sides, it was decided that something better was to be put forth.

As such:

"If an incursion from outside the settlement is fought on a landholder's land, then the landholder gets first pick of the spoils, provided that they fight in the defense against that incursion. This holds no matter how the incursion came, whether by sky, by sea, by tunneling, by passing over the borders of the land, or by some other means."

"Those who unreasonably damage the property of another through their efforts to fight off invaders will be responsible for providing compensation for the damage caused."

So it be.

Two more questions

1: How much Ordstirr did I get from killing the eagle?

2: Do I get any Ordstirr for my swift victory in the duel?

Bjorn Bjarneson, Hunter Extrodinare, murdered the local population of Time Manipulating Gators down to the very last baby in one fell swoop of bait and snare. Erik was also there and helped bring them all home :V
Notably, Bjorn can say this in Erik's presence without Erik yelling at him, though Erik does point out that we don't know if that was all the Danger Logs in the swamp.

[X] Agmundr Idskapadr Summer 2
-[X] Major Action: Clear the grounds for Sigmund Stigurdsson's Jungle Hills plot and Harald Logarson's Jungle Hills plot, helping others who are working the same areas by using his Hand Kunna to probe anomalies and dangerous areas from a safe distance and his swordsmanship to slay any monsters uncovered by the ground-clearing.
-[X] Minor Action: Attend Moli Spotlight's post-battle celebration.
-[X] Minor Action: Help guard Sigmund Stigurdsson's family and home while he's away on the expedition to the west.
-[X] Minor Action: Whenever I have the free time (probably not much, between clearing three square miles of jungle hills and then also helping guard Sigmund's house), rather than just brooding like normal, I'll be heading back to my hovel on my platform and manifesting my fylgja to discuss how things are going, what I should be training and how, working through some emotions I've been feeling recently about Grid and maybe helping me figure how to talk to her about it.
--[X] With regards to training specifically, I've been taking with two ideas recently: using my Hands to staunch my bleeding and in general help me hold my body together, and trying to develop an Iron Kunna to let me manifest some temporary blades so that I can actually use Multiweapon Fighting without having to borrow other people's weapons.
-[X] Minor Action: Try to actually implement the training that I and my fylgja figure out.
-[X] Minor Action: Help Harald with landscaping.
-[X] Minor Action: Help Moli with surveying.

[] Erik Hardhead Summer 2 Actions
-[] Major action: Carve runestone for Galti Sea-Rider
-[] Minor actions:
--[] Erik and his family sow grain in various patches cleared over the summer and winter, hoping for a decent harvest but mostly trying to get a sense for where it will grow well NEXT year. Would do the same with flax, but instead...
--[] Cultivate golden grass in a fenced enclosure near the house. (Micro-omake pending, providing more details and introducing that 8yo NPC cousin I mentioned earlier)
--[] Make sure to keep an eye out around the settlement for threats near the main camp, especially at times when relatively many of the other warriors are away on hunts and raids.
--[] Erik is going to have to lay his hands on some good stone for the runestone. He'll have to negotiate with Ivor Name-Giver, and deal with the fact that Steinarr Stonelicker was first to approach Ivor. (This is ongoing in a PM)

Report: Places of Power (Aria the Mage)
Places of Power

Alyssa, Katla, and Krakr set out on a journey, to look for sites of spiritual significance, walking in a circle deep into the jungle, and planning to walk through a spiral into the center of the circle if they found little of interest on the outer edge.

The first encounter begins with Krakr disappearing. Katla perceiving something below them, the two remaining climb trees nearby and drop rocks. Nothing happens. Krakr, however, calls out, saying that he has fallen into a pit, containing a door hidden by powerful and strange magics.

Alyssa finds the edge of the pit and opens it up, allowing Krakr to escape. However, the door (or rather, the spirit of it) begins to speak, maligning Krakr and his magic. Hearing Krakr's assessment to the group, the spirit begins to insult the group. While diplomacy is attempted, the spirit declares that, despite the group having given no insult, that it wishes them dead, for they are barbarians, and stains upon the earth regardless of deeds. With such insult dealt, the group sets to studying the door, that they might make right the aforementioned insult. Krakr, attempting diplomacy one last time, summons the spirit of the hearth he has ijn contract. The door spirit, whom the hearth spirit reveals to be named Billibus, threatens the hearth spirit. The hearth spirit, familiar with this door spirit, suggests that we slay the rude spirit.

Whiles this Billibus had spoken dire threats, the hearth spirit Joshua reveals that it is harmless, for it is a spirit of the Greeks, who no longer walk this world. To make right the dishonor it sought to inflict upon us, the three resolve to dig the door from the earth it is set in, and pillage whatever treasure those with magical senses can feel within it.

Krakr, laughing at the spirits impotent threats, opens the door as Alyssa begins to dig out the frame, the spirit whimpering as it receives its rightful humiliation. Beyond the door is a treasure worth the risk indeed, a pool of liquid moonlight, shining a brilliant silver.

Void-Eagle crew receive +7 Ordstirr
Sites of spiritual power crew receive +5 Ordstirr

Kare, for winning a Holmgang, receives +3 Ordstirr

Notably, Bjorn can say this in Erik's presence without Erik yelling at him, though Erik does point out that we don't know if that was all the Danger Logs in the swamp.

That's why I specified local population!

I'm hoping more move in, so I can start experimenting!
