With the dyes Agnes found and the egging-frog eggs, we might be able to make tempera paint. Could be useful for decorations and for rune-powering.

Good stopgap, but we still need to try and find Linseed and a source of Iron so we can make real paint.

Good to know Agnes has some capital though, was just about to talk with her about payment helping on my farm, maybe we can get creative :).

Hey Ragnarr ( @DeadmanwalkingXI ) do you think you could use your force Kunna to blast our way to the tin deposit on my land? The settlement knows where some copper deposits are so if we reach it we could get some bronze production up and running after some trial and error.

Probably. IMO it's not urgent since Agmundr has a shitload of brass and 400 lbs of iron to work with, but it's a good call in the long term. Ragnarr would be happy to help his blood brother with anything he asks in terms of Passives. My Major action this Winter is likely going to getting my family to use their Kunna to help me burrow down and get some stone that way. Stone is a much more urgent need, given the need for walls and runestones alike. We could try burrowing down on your land, thus getting access to the tin as well, but honestly I suspect we're gonna need to go deeper and run into the rattock at some point and that's probably a bad scene to have the entrance to right below you. Up to you if you want to risk it.

That seems like a good way to give our location away to people. Best just do it the old fashion way and dig down or use soil kunna to do so.

Force doesn't have to be non-subtle, I can do a drill or toss earth around rather than exploding things or something. But also, explosion noises are not attention drawing in these parts...remember the exploding hedgehogs and lightning-throwing toads.

If it's not urgent then it can wait. ( I'm hoping to use my next bunch of PT to get some of those Mushling thralls and see if I can use them to work the mine).

@I.F. Ister I'll use my second Seeress Boon to have her handle the hostile local spirits on Sigmund's jungle hill plot.

So what condition are our 3 remaining longships ins, and how much maintenance has been done on them?
Not fantastic condition, very little maintenance has been done. They still float and the sails still work, but... Well, who knows how much longer they've got before things get bad?

Gotcha

Right, so I have a recipe, now I need to make a supply.
I think you need either a skill or appropriate Kunna for that. Moli can do it for sure, and the Fire Kunna people probably can do something, but I don't think the rest of us can.

As an unrelated question, do you want to spend your Ordstirr? You have enough for 2 PT.
I do, but I thinking of a way to use it that does not spread me out too thin.

Also are you in charge of inventory? I think the four Gambesons I made disappeared.
@Shard would Moli be willing to make me some glass I want to use it for construction

Two ways I can think for payment. I ask for help gathering driftwood for construction and donating a portion of flax to the stockpile so we can make more cloth for more Gambesons. I can also weave that into cloth for your own use for a larger portion of the flax if you want.

Ok, I know what my passives are gonna be spent on then.

Good on you for thinking of that.

We don't have a supply of sheep for heavy woolen sails yet, but we'll have Linen for light sails shortly.

Unfortunately there's no good supply of an oil bearing plant or fish that we've found to waterproof(Linen rots Super easy untreated), likely one of our next supply chain priorities.

Off-topic, but IF suggested switching your Kunna to Water. Did you want to do that, or keep Ocean?

I do, but I thinking of a way to use it that does not spread me out too thin.

I mean, 5-6 skills is definitely not too thin, but you could also upgrade an existing one if you preferred.

Also are you in charge of inventory? I think the four Gambesons I made disappeared.

You said you gave them to the town, so they're going in the town inventory rather than your personal one. You can certainly adjust that, but that's the default.

Yeah I thought so too
Material Stock:

21 Units of Basic Lumber (Tier 1 Material)

15 Units of Quality Lumber (Tier 2 Material)

Fastener Stock:

18 Units of Vine Rope, Basic (Tier 1 Fastener)

1 Unit of Quality Nails (Tier 2 Fastener)

Textiles Stock:

20 Units of Sailcloth (Tier 3 Textile)
But I fail to see it, thus I ask where it went.

I...think I want to go with wild craft and maybe alchemy if it is available? Eventually someone will some neat rocks and I want to be able to recognize Hematite and Lazurite and be able to turn them to dyes. I also need natural alum.

We've found some copper, which develops verdigris when exposed to acid like vinegar. Can be used for a type of green pigment.

(@I.F. Ister Do we need to spend a season to process Flax->Linen(assuming so) or can we go Flax->End User Product in one action?)

"I had hoped to spin this flax myself, but...just as it was a waste for the seed to go to any lesser in skill or land than me, so it would be a waste for it to be spun by me.

My proposal is thus: I have 8 bushels of Flax and hold one more in debt to Agmundr until it has been processed to Linen.

I would ask you to process all of these for me, in payment I offer you a third of the resulting Linen.

There is a...seperate matter I'd like to discuss with you about two commissions to be made from the highest quality resulting Linen, a tunic and a wall hanging, both well embroidered and fit for a gift to a prominent clan, but payment for those will wait until we see how much Quality Linen can be produced.

If you wish a higher share of the crop, I am very interested in any seeds you may have for dye yielding plants and would be willing to trade against either this crop or my next.

Thoughts? "

The handfish, provides water proof hair. I'll get to finding them I guess.

Good luck, I hope you don't die fishing.

Ah! The communal supplies only update once a season and have not been updated yet. That'll happen before the new season begins, no worries.

Wildcraft should be fine. @I.F. Ister is Alchemy in the sense of, like, early chemistry available?

I'm planning to have Sigmund go hunting during the winter as my major action in the upcoming turn. Would anybody be interested in joining him?

Depends.

What are you hunting?
Ideally it would be something powerful enough that Sigmund could eat its heart, but unable to acquire the means to track such a beast down, he'll settle for just hunting stuff to bring back for Ordstirr, trophies and the Seeress/Shapecrafter. Also he and Bjorn Drakeslayer have agreed to join forces as Bjorn was planning to go hunting himself.

I will remind people of my current Winter plan to grab Steinarr and head burrowing downward in search of Stone. More people would be very good...we may run into rattocks or other things, and we really need the stone.

We still need a runestone for Galti, and after that we're out of stone, which means any Fated Day is a draugr situation.
