If you think the two of us working together could hold off the army I'll help. But with all the other guys running off on there own I think it's going to be negligible benefit. Sorry.
Honestly, I get we're Norse but seriously running off without a plan is frustrating.
BTW whose in charge of running defenses again?

I think I'm shutting down for the night, but can we get a list of who-all is doing what, maybe? Someone else would have to keep track, as noted I'm probably AFK from this quest.

Does anybody want to help me commit to a delaying/skirmishing action?
Recharging ordstirr is the kind of thing you do after a big badass battle. If you delay the badass battle, you delay the recharge.

Oh— we got skeletons to deal with. Are Skeletons vulnerable to fire by any chance? I contracted a fire spirit. Or— or is this the sort of situation I should just call upon my favour with Alfatella the Askefroa and just watch several hundred skeletons get pulversied? Or do we want to save for that for whatever's coming from the Ocean— given (don't remember who's— but someone's blood/danger sense what off about THAT but not the skeleton army)?

If you'd wait a minute, some other people wanted to harass as well. @weeblypanda and @wabbitking you want to join @Bass11 on this? Three people are more likely to make a difference than one, as a rule.
YES OMG YES!

We're trying to give y'all more time to coordinate, prepare, and build up defenses.

The QM has said this is a special event, so nothing we do is going to prevent at least some skeletons from reaching the front lines. As everyone here is contributing, popping a really big nuke may be a bit inefficient here.

Do y'all want to pincer them? Y'all attack by land I'll attack by sea? If we split them up their individual responses will be lessened and we'll pull more off from the main force?
Edit: Also, might confuse whoever is coordinating them. We could also attack together from range. I wanted to lead some astray using Guiding-light but since we need to save Ordstirr expenditure, blunt arrows will probably be better.

Alright, but seriously, anyone want a Dino-Armor suit? Best for either someone with a strength-based fighting style, or who is fragile and uses kunna.

Pincering them seems reasonable. Bear in mind I'm staying with the army due to command responsibilities.

I'm fine with that.

Alyssa finds the edge of the pit and opens it up, allowing Krakr to escape. However, the door (or rather, the spirit of it) begins to speak, maligning Krakr and his magic. Hearing Krakr's assessment to the group, the spirit begins to insult the group. While diplomacy is attempted, the spirit declares that, despite the group having given no insult, that it wishes them dead, for they are barbarians, and stains upon the earth regardless of deeds. With such insult dealt, the group sets to studying the door, that they might make right the aforementioned insult. Krakr, attempting diplomacy one last time, summons the spirit of the hearth he has ijn contract. The door spirit, whom the hearth spirit reveals to be named Billibus, threatens the hearth spirit. The hearth spirit, familiar with this door spirit, suggests that we slay the rude spirit.

Whiles this Billibus had spoken dire threats, the hearth spirit Joshua reveals that it is harmless, for it is a spirit of the Greeks, who no longer walk this world. To make right the dishonor it sought to inflict upon us, the three resolve to dig the door from the earth it is set in, and pillage whatever treasure those with magical senses can feel within it.
Apropos of nothing, just saw this. I think this spirit is likely related to the trireme we found?

[X] Gudrun Rekavidrsdottir proceeds to help as much as she can by helping to prep the defenses or the likes of storing resources for the upcoming battle.

I got nothing, aka at work, but I suppose better for Gudrun to help out at the back for now. Posting such an action in case I forgot due to said work or tiredness. I'm sure everyone will be fine due to how active the thread is. o.o;

@Jaguar2234 I wanted to write an omake about Valo pleading with Grid not to 'cheat' the Seeress out of her blood I'll PM you a draft so you can go over characterization issues.
