Ooof, yeah, now we see why Norse people are expected to be awesome at Farming and Labor.

Welp, time to roll up our sleeves and GIT GUD

Raiding Season is next turn I think? We go to town automatically then, right?

Our farm is literally a tent so building a house is our first priority. Then we need to work on at least two fields, I think? Maybe one will do as we have milk/cheese.

We could look into doing runework to enhance our fields and barn?

Wait a sec...

ABJORN HAS 9 FUCKING HAMR?!?

Who the fuck is training him and can we have a share?

That's an 8 rather than a 9, actually. Remember that the dice pool is one higher than the stat.

And remember that he has Giant's Blood, so he can get to Hamr 8 as easily as we could get to a 7. Now, that's not by any means easy, but it gives some perspective.

And speaking of co-ownership, here comes Abjorn.
(How did Abjorn do on his Sword-Quest? D100: 98, goddamn)
Your husband-to-be strides with confidence in his spine and an ancient sword in hand. You'd heard the tales, everyone had.

He fought and killed not one, not two, but three draugar to obtain that sword, all at the same time — with his bare hands.
So I'm hearing that Abjorn has some more Orthstirr to play with.

"Vows of Love - You remember the vows you made on your wedding day, on the hilts of swords both old and new. This gives you a free trait lock-in/lock-out for your future children."
a free choice for every baby customization? thats nice since we dont have tins of hamingja right now

Anyway...

---[X] Trick Reserve: 7-ish
--[X] Management:
---[X] 3 dice on Basic House (We are not living in a tent for months! +4 successes from Fine Tools)
---[X] 10 dice on Field 1 (Can we get it online in time? Let's find out! Growing Food in this one)
-[X] (Fylgja Capacity)
--[X] Replace Decent Tools with Fine Tools

Okay, not sure if the formatting's great or not, but this is basically a Crash Remedial Training Course to Suck Less at Management. Fishing for training dice or bonuses from Sten and Abjorn, while preparing for the Raid Trials, which we're actually good at and should hopefully forestall any Awkwardness.

With our Fine Tools and 3 dice, chances are fairly good that we'll be able to get the House built in one go, leaving lots of time to hopefully get the first Field set up before we're out of time. The rest of our training is mostly trying to polish off our remaining Rough Tricks and then massive remedial work on Labor, Farming, and Management, with a dip into Household Skill in hopes of improving that. 2d6 sucks, yes, hopefully we can get a bonus die or two in there to massage the odds.
