As for the rest they're honestly isn't enough to do with them for them to have a full upgrade tree in comparison to planets like Kalee or Taris, and sheer option bloat is a concern as well.
The thing is though, if I let you have a minor base on the group of planets already suggested that would mean that by extension I would have to let you have bases on basically every single named planet, which would not only break the game but be an absolute nightmare to write.
Yeah that makes sense. My thinking was, there are a number of 'minor' planets -- Lorrd, Nimban, etc. -- and minor corporations -- House Benelex, Iyranis Gravitics -- that we could benefit from, but wouldn't be worth spending 100-200 credits or spending an entire Action just to gain access to them. The proposal for 'minor bases' was to give us a lower cost (& especially lower opportunity cost) option to do so.

Another way I had considered, was simply turning them into base upgrades for Taris. I believe I'd already proposed inviting Sullustan investment in Taris via the 'SoroSuub Landing' location. We could carve out other 'districts' and do the same thing for other systems or species -- build a Nimbanel Quarter to let us hire those bureaucrats, or a Lellish District to bring their advertising expertise to bear. It'd still be 'option bloat' by virtue of just how many 'specialist species' exist in the galaxy, but you'd still have veto power, and at least it'd be limited to a single planet.

Sullust is going to be a base in itself.
Given that Garm Bel Iblis is going to be at that anti-Palpatine meeting, will we be able to buy a base in Corellia next turn? That's the other 'big name' on my wish list.

She also goes where the force needs/guides her instead of working for the council, so it wouldnt be out of character for her to randomly pop up and help some war torn world world

Sounds like an interesting recruitment opportunity since she experienced both sides during her wander so I think she would be open to our influence and aid like a free agent bringing planets in the CNS and groundside news.
Would be great if we can get her to help with Ciaran development in the force or if needed found an alternate Jedi order, I would say all her experience would mean she's the best Jedi to bring into our ranks since everyone else is too close to the Order since she does have distance and open mind.

The Diplomatic Adventures of Obi-wan Kenobi

I feel bad for Obi-Wan...actually no I don't. Canon, +10.

I'll consider it, but that's still quite a lot of potential upgrades.

Is that five now? Am I counting five?

No it's still only four. The weapon in question would have been created by that Jenna chick who died already, and we already brought her up.

@Dr. Snark, can we get another one of these actions where we found a Bounty Hunter Guild house so that our Guardians, Seekers, and Agents (especially Agents) can bring in regular bounty money and loot?

Hmm...I'm not sure it will be that specifically but that does give me an idea for things, especially since I need to properly work in bounty hunters like people have been requesting...

I'll get back to you on that next turn.

@Dr. Snark Just a couple of questions

What would be the effect of taking the heavily armed "Diplomatic" Ships, I can think of bonuses for the rest of the options, but the only utility I can think for these ships it to gift them to Padme, Satine, Bail etc, to get them more protected, Can you told us the bonus, or if you can´t at least give us a clue?

There are any bomber squad in the Oracle fleet? if there isn´t can we buy a few BTL-B Y-wing or something similar like we did with the headhunters?

I actually had an idea for that, based on my last 'Briefing' omake:
The last planet in this region is Nal Hutta, the capital for Overfed Meatbags, and its moon Nar Shaddaa, the crime capital of the whole galaxy. Query: PR-1's notes indicate that the Abyss Watcher facility on the planet is used primarily as a nightclub and casino. Why have you not designated that planet as a Blacksite for Abyss Watcher forces? Indeed, given its reputation and crime rate, Nar Shaddaa could be ideal for live-fire training against other meatbag gangs. I also understand both the Neimoidians of Duros Sector and the Corellian Port Control are known to hire bounty hunters to clean out crime in their districts of the city, so you'd even get paid for it.
Specifically: that we incorporate a Bounty Hunter Guild chapter/house on Nar Shaddaa (just as we incorporated Aegis Security on Coruscant), with the rewards being extra training for our Guardians/Seekers (+5% chance of upgrading to the next tier?) and income. That income could be constant (since we'd be 'patrolling' our part of town regularly), or could be a per-turn roll similar to our salvage rolls (since there'd be an element of chance in whether we capture/kill a target with low/medium/high bounty on their head). We'd want to separately vote on a name for the 'corporation', as well as identify a specific purpose or mission statement -- are we focused on anti-piracy or anti-slavery, or more law-and-order concerns like tracking down murderers and terrorists?

I'm not sure whether this would apply to our Abyss Agents -- they might get some experience, but they're being trained as special-ops and I'm not sure this would fit -- but I leave that up to Dr. Snark.

I actually was the one who put that suggestion forward as well:
Diplomatic Barge/Consular Ship: specialized for diplomatic missions, but with a subtext that most diplomatic missions are taking place in hostile or potentially hostile areas. So: luxury cruiser with strong shields, decent array of weapons, good acceleration & hyperdrive. Ideally, also equipped with a HIMS-like capability to bypass Interdiction fields and/or shroud to negate tractor beams. (Could we recruit diplomatic staff to send out, or give one to Satine to let her act independently to rally more systems to the CNS?)
Basically, it would boost our Diplomacy, but would also provide protection for diplomatic missions to hostile (or near-hostile) systems. It would also provide 'official cover' for our agents to infiltrate a planet, along with a means of escape...

I think we should make them all-rounders rather than specialists. That way they can be helpful to all of our operations instead of just a fraction as well as being able to capitalise on opportunities that they otherwise wouldn't be able to do.

I'm not sure whether this would apply to our Abyss Agents -- they might get some experience, but they're being trained as special-ops and I'm not sure this would fit -- but I leave that up to Dr. Snark.
They can use the Force and their Blazing Chains proficiency means they'll never miss. Legendary bounty hunters have built their fame on such accuracy alone, never mind the other stuff Agents can do. Besides that, why do you think that being trained in special ops makes them unsuited to becoming bounty hunters? If anything, the fact that they're trained in spec ops makes them ideal for becoming bounty hunters.

EDIT:
+100 reward from anonymously collected bounties on Durge.
Nice. Pretty decent payout.

question can we spend ALL of our excess funds next turn on upgrading HK-47 to kill Palpatine/everyone?

something something more radiation tell he melts something something puddle

something something he becomes a giant radiation monster something something.

(I am pretty sure that I read somewhere in the wiki about a sith that was thrown into a volcano and automatically came back as a giant lava monster, will search it back later when feeling less lazy)

@Dr. Snark, I have some questions and suggestions.

In The Diplomatic Adventures of Obi-wan Kenobi, a canon omake, Obi-wan expands his view of the Force to cover the entire planet, something he considers to be "more difficult than any challenge he had ever faced". Did Obi-wan gain an increase in Lore as a result of successfully completing that challenge?

I suggest you change the 'Mercenary Work' action from a one-shot +100 credit gain into a +60 income like with the 'Mercenaries. Offer services to the CIS/Republic' actions, or else add such a 'Mercenaries. Offer services to...' option on top of Mercenary Work.

Did we compile the virus library or have our nano-droids rendered such a library obsolete? It's unclear in the update.

In Organisation Assets, I noticed that under 'Force Users' we only have Abyss Apprentices and Agents, i.e. commandos. Considering the Force can be used in many different ways for many different things, not just for fighting, would it be possible to have an action to create alternate roles and specialisations for Force users? Creating non-combat roles should increase the number of Force users we bring in as we no longer exclude those who are unwilling or unable to become warriors and killers. To give some examples, we could have some Force users trained to be diplomats, healers, spies, Force researchers/archaeologists, and even scientists.

About a year ago, Anakin said that Ciaran had in the past few years done more for the galaxy than the Jedi despite not having the Jedi's clout. Since then, she has brought about the Caamas Ceasefire, bringing a moment of peace to the galaxy while the Jedi have done nothing in the war but fight in it. With those two facts in mind, can we attempt to patch things up with the Jedi so that they're not so grudging about our alliance?

We are an information broker. Can we sell information to both sides with our Seekers like how we fight for both sides with our Guardians? Something like the Kaer Platform but more regular in its rewards.

Makes sense, I can certainly update it.

Hmm...I think it's safe to say that the nano-droids have rendered that obsolete. Think of that crit basically giving you the rewards for both tucked into one thing.

Maybe. I need to figure out how that will work.

Well the thing is that the main reason said alliance is grudging is because the Council really doesn't like how Ciaran rolls, and that's probably never ever going to change at this point.

We are an information broker. Can we sell information to both sides with our Seekers like how we fight for both sides with our Guardians? Something like the Kaer Platform but more regular in its rewards.

I'll need to think about this; given recent trends I might rework that idea.

They might not know how Ciaran rolls and sure they don't like that, but in the wake of such an undeniably major and good thing that we did, could they not be made to find within themselves the capacity to just accept it?

We are talking about the Jedi, and despite all the good this order has done (and still does) they are incredibly dogmatic in their views and methods, and very disconnected from the realities of the Galaxy.

I suppose that if the council were composed by more Sentinels, who live and work literally light years away from the Ivory Tower that is the Jedi temple, and has an understanding of the gray areas of the galaxy, we would have a much better relationship with them, but most of them are either Guardians or Cosnulars.

I think you're flanderising the Jedi to an absurd degree. Your views honestly have more in common with one of those silly news omakes than anything grounded in reality. They might have their faults but they're nowhere near as bad as you're making them out to be.

Also worth mentioning: about a year ago, Anakin sounded like he was on the brink of leaving the Jedi Order:
"Now that you know the truth, do you still want to be here?" You ask.

The question seems to cause Anakin to briefly tense up again before his shoulders visibly sag and his face visibly falls. "...No." You can tell he wants to go on, so instead of continuing your questioning you simply stay silent for a moment as he breathes in deeply before trying to voice his thoughts. "I want to be somewhere where I'm needed. I want to be where people are suffering because of the war. I want to be out in the galaxy helping people. You say you don't have the weight of being a Jedi behind you but you've still done more in the past few years for the galaxy than anything the Jedi have done since then, even though-." He cuts himself off before he mentions the Hutts, the thought likely still disgusting to him. "...But instead of being able to help people like you've been I'm here because the Coun-" He clenches his fists tightly as he seems to come to a realization and looks at you straight on. "-the Masters have decided that I'd be better suited to spying on you instead of being a Jedi," he spits out.

Ah, so that's it...In the end even after everything he's become and everything he aspires to be, Anakin Skywalker still believes he is a slave, only with his masters now being called 'the Jedi Council' instead of 'Hutts'. But still..."This one mission can't have been enough to make you say that," you point out, fishing for more information.

He doesn't respond for a second before muttering "No it isn't. Ever since..." He breathes in again deeply and then continues. "Ever since my mother nearly died...they've been telling me that my love for her is a weakness and that I have to let go of her so that I can become a true Jedi," he says with bitter sarcasm.

...
Anakin turns to look at you with an unreadable expression on his face as you drive your point home. "No matter what the Council may say, you don't have to be a part of the Order to be a Jedi. Once you realize that, you now have a choice: you can either stay with the Order and smother your doubts about everything they've told you...or you can decide what it means to be a Jedi for yourself."
Will we ever get an action to sway Anakin to make this official? It doesn't need to be a 'recruitment' action -- though it might pave the way to recruiting him after several turns (like Jango), or might make him a 'quasi-ally' that we need to spend several more actions on to integrate fully (like Asajj).

Basically, we've set up Anakin -- though frankly, it was that single interlude and miniarc that did most of the work -- to decide to leave the 'Jedi Order' and becoming a Jedi 'Knight-Errant' -- a wanderer, an 'Exile', or even a 'Jedi Lord' in the original sense. Remember that the original Jedi Lords were not 'Jedi who seize power to become dictators' -- no, they were Jedi who defied the Council and proactively went out into the galaxy to defend the defenseless and promote justice in the lawless parts of the galaxy. For this, they were trusted as judges and as lawgivers when the existing power-structure collapsed.

Considering who Anakin is, what motivates him, and what his current reputation is... I could easily see this happening. He wouldn't need to use the same title -- any would do -- but that idea could be amazing, for Anakin's own personal growth, for the galaxy's political situation, and for our own organization.

I´m not saying they are bad guys or that all of the Jedis live disconnected from the galaxy, but Jedis (as an organization) have been in the galaxy for thousands of years, and the galaxy has changed a lot since then, but they have remained basically the same, if after so much time the have not adapted to the new galaxy, they are quite inmovilistic, and that makes them fairly disconnected from the galaxy as a whole. And if an organization that has existed for so long has not revised their principles and views in thousands of years, they have to be quite dogmatic...

I don´t think that Ani will join us anytime soon, to leave the Jedi order right now would also mean to abandon Ashoka, and I seriously doubt he will abandon the order before she is knighted (unless something drastic happens, like when she was expelled from the order and convicted)
