Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

So I was reminded of an ol' idea from SB's Cyberpunk Fic Ideas Thread, of Johnny Bravo being an old Solo by the time of 2077, and I gotta say...it tickled me pink. It even makes a certain amount of sense, on account that when the Valentinos formed they were a straight up poser gang of wannabe Casanovas, of which Johnny is quintessentially that.

Of half a mind now to pitch that as an alt timeline to the main setting, mainly because one of the things that paired best with the concept was his decades old friendship with Samurai Jack.

...

Do it

I didn't roll the networking just the other stuff.

Mostly because if I did I would spoil and I don't want that.

Also strange question but how many times a day do you all think about Roman Empire…?
Well then, we have either screwed up our visit to the Pope, Francis Ford Coppola hates us and leave Lucasfilms, or John is dead...

Omake writers, this is your time to shine!!!

I just hope we didn't actually fail. We really can't afford to be failing much this turn. Hopefully, it'll just be a bunch of absurd outcomes as opposed to anything actually bad.

Depends on what's going on, but...no less than three to four times a day, usually in comparison to everything else going on.

More, if something Metal happens.
Did we somehow kick off a Roman Restoration or something?
I mean, technically the Eastern Roman Empire named the King of Spain the rightful heir to the Empire before it fell to the Ottomans, so...a revival can happen even today as well.

I might not have learned my lesson yet, but this is too tempting for me. I'm going with the mystery option.
Well good news, John got a bonus…

Bad news what he discovered just got worse.
That would make no sense as Bruce is a staunch Catholic. If through a couple bad rolls Bruce gets Deus Ex Machina'd in a horrible illogical situation then that's going too far.
Indeed but that didn't go that bad…

Let's leave it at that.
I own the Masters of Rome series, so pretty much every day.

Did we just manage to get it back? Or did the remnants of Benito Mussolini's party are trying to make a comeback?
Oh no it's just that we might have helped a certain king in Spain by accident with our meeting with the pope.

Ooh, ooh, I can explain this one!! :D If I'm right that is.

Ahem.

Right now, Spain is undergoing heavy democratic reform after it had suffered for the past few decades under the iron fist of Fascist dictator Francisco Franco, who died four years ago. Ironically enough, Juan Carlos I, the prime minister who succeeded Franco and member of the bloodline of the monarchy before became a republic, was the main reformer and voice behind the democratic changes, which most likely would never have taken off as well as it did without his support.

Some people right now still want Spain to remain Fascist, however, which'll be a bit of pain for Juan. However, if my assumptoons about Bruce's meeting with the Pope are true, Juan might be able to smooth over the transition to democracy(i.e. constitutional monarchy) almost flawlessly with the support of Bruce and the Pope... maybe.

What I'm wondering about is how a meeting with the Pope ,which what I can gleem was a disaster, leads to helping the King of Spain
