Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

You know I always wonder what Bruce's Wiki page would look like and then things like this happen and it makes me think it will be hilarious.

Here is your reward:
[]Am I so out of touch (Give Taxi Driver a bonus to critical and audience rolls)
[]This is going to be great… now we just need to market it. (Autopass Taxi Driver)
[]A coalition you say (Possibility of a coalition forming from other major studios against universal.)

Oh yeah, his Wikipedia article is definitely going to be a highlight and among the most hilarious and longest. For me I'm more hyped for a Bruce biopic or TV series where America follows along his Forrest Gump like exploits and is utterly shocked to find out how much history is stranger than fiction.

As exciting as the first and third rewards are, after we got a nat 1 with George I'm going to chose auto pass more often than not unless there's low risk or low DC.

Personally, I'd prefer if instead we had him be one of the people that Forrest meets, perhaps during a trip to California where Forrest gives Bruce the final push needed to convince George to create Lucasfilms Unlimited (I mean, no one else knows how they came to that decision).

By the way, can we go for buying the rights for the Lord of the Rings books, and the Hobbit as well? If not this turn then would you be fine doing it next turn?

Would someone be willing to be a sounding board for either coming up with an omake or script for the Yakuza 0 idea I've been mulling over? Cause I want to get it together so Takaya Kuroda and Hidenari Ugaki can slot into it smoothly when the 80s roll around and I know that I'm not skilled enough to do it on my own.

@Magoose how long until United Artists sell the rights of LOTR and the Hobbit?

Because in the wiki it only says that it happened in 1976, it doesn't specify month or day...

And @Kaiser Chris would you please reconsider my previous suggestion about switching Calling Your Parents or A Well-Known Fan, for buying the rights of Tolkien's Books from United Artists?

Even if we can't make any live action film for decades, we can at least prevent the monstrosity that was the animated film... I would actually be a great project so that our coming Animation Division gets proper recognition

Oh and here is something funny to note:

D100 => 100

Event: D20 => 19

Huh… wasn't expecting that on the 76 event bingo card. :V

Hell I wasn't even expecting that to be… even a thing?

Who the hell would even do that?

Well, this seems the exact same format of what happened in the last A Well-Known Fan action...

Now let's speculate if Queen was a 17... Who could be that 19?

Queen Elizabeth? The Monty Python? Ridley Scott? Ronald Reagan? The Pope? U2?

    --[X] Housing Development [$15 Million]: After having read Ildefons Cerdà's original plans for Barcelona [during one of your visits to the Library with Carrie], you've come to realize that with your considerable capital you could actually implement his plans on a widescale level and improve the lives of ordinary folk by a considerable margin. In that vein, you've decided to take a look a look at various locations throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area that would suit your project and taking steps to reach out to a reputable Civil Engineer to bring your vision to life, one where a developed urban center and affordable apartment housing can coexist with nature in harmony, with everything the common man needs; you also plan to leave space for higher educational and religious centers, but the priority is that people can live here relatively peacefully and without fear of unreasonable oversight, where parents don't have to be afraid for their children's safety.
