Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Hey guys, check this out:

It's so fascinating how Bruce Lee grew from being just another kid wanting to fight and beat those around him, to the friend and mentor that we had in the quest. The fact that the philosophy he taught us was also taught to him, and we could pass it on in McLuvin's pitch is also amazing in my opinion.

I actually knew about Lee's rather violent childhood, and that's why I included Li's past of essentially becoming obsessed with conflict. Whereas Bruce got past it and made a career in Hollywood taking students and passing on his knowledge in a more peaceful environment, Li abandons violence too after the death of his family, and takes on students, first Bobby, then later hinted to be more, like James.

I really did my research trying to make the symbolism about it being about Bruce and Goose, and about Hollywood (James goes to learn from Li at the end, same as how Lee became a major stunt coordinator in Hollywood) and about Balance.

I know it's kinda arrogant to say this, but I really do think it's the best tribute Goose can give Lee, to create a movie that brings martial arts into the mainstream, and bridges the gap between the Chinese and American audiences.

It's not arrogant to take pride in the effort you put in and what you made. You did really good work, own it! 👍☺️

YEp. that guy.

He did a decent job... ish.

Hey at least he didn't fuck everything up.

He helped get Disney into the lucrative cruise industry. He'd be viewed a lot more favorably if it weren't for the millstone that was the failure of the park now known as Disneyland Paris. Which might not have been quite so bad had they not built way too many hotels right before the local economy tanked.

He was also the man who helped helm the Disney Renaissance. We could do worse for people to helm our film studio.

Nope:

"If I Could Dream"- Elvis has taken it upon himself to be better, for his family, and for himself. He is not just a fat slob, or the man who could sell records. He Was Elvis Presley, and he would never forget that again. (+30 to all rolls)

Then let's do some stuff with the King to take advantage of that bonus.

Okay, new action available.

Though he moved to Ireland when he was three and didn't return until he was 8.

But he is a born and Bred new yorker.

Taking part in reviving Steeplechase Park would both benefit New York City and serve as the start of the O'Brien theme park empire. It's a textbook win-win situation. Especially if we can poach some Disney imagineers at some point in the future.

Well the city of New York is going to make that hard.
Just saying.

Just because it'd be difficult doesn't mean that it isn't something worth pursuing.
Normally I would have denied it due to it being an existing property and video game.

However since there are a lot of people that want to do it, I'll allow it.

Just this once.

no.

And belive me, I'm being nice by allowing Undertale.

I think movies with the general concepts of FNAF or Bendy can work since they're all about how creepy animatronics or old timey cartoons can be. I'd just hold off on Not-FNAF until after Chuck E. Cheese becomes a thing.

We also need to figure out who else to network with. I'm thinking Don Bluth and George's friend Steven. We might be able to poach Bluth away from Disney earlier than OTL.

Michael Eisner and Don Bluth join Lucasfilm, LET'S GOOO!!

Yeah, I always felt like he gets a way worse rap than he really deserves. He did pretty good all things considered and he's infinitely better than the people Disney gets nowadays.

We gotta ask Steve Jobs to design Lucasfilms Creativity district one day, you should see what he did for Pixar.

If this is pre-Apple, we can add in a condition of allowing him forming the technological branch of the company with our own funding.

Now, we could poach some Imagineers to create Lucasland, where Star Wars for now is the prominent theme of the Park.

Yeah I see the true pacifist ending coming but I wonder how the audience would react to the date things

Date things? What do you mean?

It's referring to how apparently the War with the monster took place in the 2010's in-game. It can easily be changed to be in the distant past.

Oh you know papyrus "friendship" quest when you go to his house

We don't have to follow the game's storyline to the letter. Either it becomes a playdate or that particular part of the story is excised.

Oh you know papyrus "friendship" quest when you go to his house
Ah. I assume most people would see it how players see it, an adorable moment of friendship from two people who don't really know what the word dating means. We could also always just change how it's referred to, it's not like we're doing an adaptation in-universe. We're making up Undertale so we can definitely do things different if needed. Although, I would like to refrain from changes as much as we can. I may be a bit biased here, as Undertale is my favorite game(I recognize it's not the "best" game, but it's my favorite nonetheless)but I think the game is basically perfect as is.
