Hmmm.... going back to work soon, so I won't be around for the initial vote rush. But here's my thoughts on actions:

[] Train at the vent with Suyin and Su Ling
-[] Argent Soul
[] Visit the Archive
-[] Research the egg. What does it need to hatch?
[] Cultivate Argent Mirror with Bai Meizhen
[] Cultivate on your own
-[] Eight-Phase Cycle, or Arm Meridian if AS isn't completed somehow
[] Take a job
-[] Basic Hunting Mission

[] You are still worried about Suyin, perhaps the two of you could study formations together? It might get her mind off things
[] Spend some time with Han Jian outside of training, what do they do for fun?
[] Spend some time with Su Ling, perhaps you can learn a little bit of hunting tactics and harvesting from her

Not optimized - with pills, for example, Argent Soul can probably be completed without a dedicated action. Still, I'd like to see Ling Qi:
* Finish AS
* Start EPC
* Research the egg
* Start Argent Mirror
* Take a job that gets Ling Qi out and exploring

On the minor actions, Han Jian and Suyin for sure... and I feel like getting a start on prepping for doing gathering missions and/or exploring is useful, so Su Ling.

EDIT: And also could help get a juicy rabbit for Cui.
 
Anyway, proposal--we have the Moon Fill mission next week, and we don't get any sekrit benefits that EPC might have if we haven't learned it by then.

However, it needs 25 successes to achieve. We're probably not getting that with a single action.

So, we have one Major Action currently locked in towards studying the egg to find out what we need to get it to hatch. We can probably push AS over the top though between the Argent Vent bonus and another Argent Elixir though. Better still, we can use a Starlight Elixir as well to provoke a free Physical Cultivation roll as well if we train SCS and/or Argent Mirror, which should chain into pushing AS over the top.

@yrsillar , what does EPC count as with regards to pills?

@yrsillar, sorry for continuing to be a pain, but red stone wise is it only at mid yellow that we can go 2red/2yellow instead of 3red/1yellow stones, or does mid Silver do the same?
 
Okay, tortoise is definitely fire aspected, and might have either mountain or earth, simply by its own symbology.

Rabbits are important, beast cores are important... Formations in preparation for grabbing spirits while doing Moonfill-
Wait, we already got a spirit beast... But we're not sure when it'd hatch...

Also, are we going to check an art give us a main attack tech that does not cross with FVM?
 
Yeah, there's no huge rush on SCS 3, but Argent Mirror could be useful.

I'm just trying to figure out how we can juggle things to master Argent Soul and hopefully get our basic level of EPC started in time for the Moon Fill mission next week.

We can if we train SCS first. Our meridian will stay blank until it's occupied, so we can train SCS, and then complete first level of AMA without any conflict. Beside, we could also do it if we are doing AMA first, it will just unequip AMA.

@CircleTheSkies, you can have the Su Ling Action with @FixerUpper's rabbit as an action paired to the hunting action you also have.
 
Without dedicating everything to EPC, there is almost no chance of completing it this week. Since EPC is a cultivation art, we would have to take an action to go to the market to search for pills that align with it elementally, and since darkness is such a rare element they are going to be expensive (that is if EPC is even aligned with darkness).

Nonsense! I am not rabidly a fan of getting an arm art right now. I believe it would be nice, but it is not a necessity. I differ with you on that point certainly, but for this week and at this time, I don't think we need an arm art. Getting the turtle is certainly more important, and the training with Meizhen transitions nicely into the minor action with Xiulan.

Nonsense! I am not rabidly a fan of getting an arm art right now. I believe it would be nice, but it is not a necessity. I differ with you on that point certainly, but for this week and at this time, I don't think we need an arm art. Getting the turtle is certainly more important, and the training with Meizhen transitions nicely into the minor action with Xiulan.

Our Sable Light Pill would work I imagine, which is what I'm talking about when I say 'We might want to consider giving up some efficiency for immediate speed in light of the opportunity next week'

Yin, Element is Moon, which there obviously aren't common pills for

@Arkeus Somebody else made a good point regarding filling the cards being a free action. Mind adding the action to filling a card with Crescent Step to your plan? Maybe give it to Meizhen so we could get her fear aura? I think it would be useful.
 
So, Sable Light Pill will trigger for learning EPC, which gives us good odds of mastering it this turn if we're willing to double up.

It'd be a bit inefficient, but we've only got one left anyway, and the possibility of getting another moon art by being under its attention while we've made good progress with the ones we've already gotten is tantalizing.

I mean the Moonfill mission is ... monthly. It's not a huge thing to not have EPC completely mastered by next week. We can and should just take it again next month if we want to see what bonii EPC would give us to that mission. It's not worth burning a Sable Light pill, when we will desperately need it for opening meridians.

If omake reward holders want to spend their rewards on EPC, it might make it more likely although same as the AS4 gamble, it might not work out either.

So you want to sacrifice around 5 Qi (so around 4-5 Qi) rolls for 20 extra rolls on the Cultivation Art? I see that as a giant loss and a waste of a pill.

We have far better luck finding 8-9 Omake writers and getting them to contribute their successes to the EPC rolls.

So, this is either a tortoise, a dragon, or a hybrid. I'd bet on a hybrid, since the tortoise nigh-killed itself giving of itself to make the egg. In all cases, provided spirits don't just give elemental art bonuses, Ling Qi will get soak defense, in the form of Mountain/Earth soak or Wood regen. Even if Ling Qi can't benefit from its passives, she'll have a decent physical tank to cover her physical deficiencies. If it'll have a ranged fire-typed breath attack, that's even better, since that'll benefit from Guiding Zephyr.

As for plans... Can I ask that we don't ignore the tokens for weeks again? If we had spent an action examining them with Suyin, we might have had the dice to complete FVM before the Yellow breakthrough and got a Water mastery bonus. I'd rather not find out there was a +5 Qi cultivation dice bonus locked behind the tokens, that could have been paired with Sable Light Pill use for a total +30 Qi cultivation dice.

Amusingly, I am planning to get a burst damage arts soon, I just don't want heaven nor am I 'locked' in it being spine/arms. I want moon :(

Ehh, we'd need to do 4 actions to get it in average even with Sable Light Pills. Not worth it. Also, EPC is going to give dices to learn EPC!! (it increases moon cultivation speed).
 
We should definitely tell Han Jian's group about the tokens. Possibly also AS4 giving a boost to Breakthrough Attempts.

A moon attack art would be really weird, weird but nice. I have no idea what it would do but it sounds like something that would be amazing. I also have no idea where we could get one.

I like @Arkeus' base plan, I just disagree with his social action. I also added in the Bear Marrow elixir as we're doing a lot of combat arts and a physical. I think we've spent a lot of time with Xiulan recently and we could do with the actions elsewhere. Here's 2 alternatives:

This is aimed at shoring up our social links, getting some hunting training and at least thanking the boy that saved our life for doing so. I chose the intermediate hunting mission because whilst it's not that good for stones it isn't dangerous to Su Ling like a hard gathering mission would be.

This makes polite contact with Guangli, gets us info on beast core usage and works on some of our social links that are in trouble. The hard gathering mission is better for resources, but we're more likely to fail it I think due to a lack of survival skills.

@Arkeus Why not add a bear marrow elixir? We've got 2 boosted combat arts and a physical roll that could be adding to our Qi successes.
