we wanted something tanky for our first spirit beast and a fire tortoise fits.
hopefully we don't need to complete 10000 steps before it hatches.

Indeed! We can't lose! Cute and strong! The perfect combination!

Better still, this is the child of at least one Grade 5 Spirit Beast, that's roughly the equivalent of a Blue/Steel Cultivator, that's a strong chassis to begin with, and better still that we're getting to raise it from the start!

Yeah, it's a very, very powerful and ancient spirit beast deciding to stick it to the man because it was--if not moved, at least slightly nudged by our altruism here--in short, he knew that we'd probably do okay as the partner of his child--or at least better than the average asshole cultivator. After all, how likely is he to find a genuinely good hearted Cultivator who is also strong enough to hold their own?

And note, this opportunity wouldn't have existed either if we didn't salvage the core fragments at the start. I think we just got the Secret Prize. And this is way better for us than a month of personal instruction from an Elder--learning is something we can always do, but a chance to raise and bind a Spirit that's probably no weaker than the other High Noble partners? That's priceless.

I'd like to finish off Argent Soul, do our hair with Xiulan, and get hatching the critter over with as my own top priorities.
 
Opening the rest of the tokens could give us a nice boost, and skip us a few weeks of cultivation.

Actions:

Major: We shouldn't train AS, but should try to master AS. I think this line-up gives us the best shot, since 3 rolls with the right pills should make it a done deal, which lets us start on EPC. The archive is very good, though I'd suggest we look for the egg ASAP. If it has high potential, it'll probably still start out weak as a newborn, so the faster we hatch the egg, the faster it's getting somewhere. The medallions are likewise tempting, and dropping physical cultivation (using a pill instead) and figuring out an additional medallion is pretty tempting.

This leaves something like:

Physical/Medallion and use a pill to get the cultivation action anyway
Spiritual
AMA
Egg
SCS/EPC/Archive for arts​


Minor: Shoring up Han Jian remains the biggest goal. To best do this, I'd say we double up and hit Xiulan as well.
Han Jian (obvious choice now that there's less pressure)
Xiulan: Reinforces the Han Jian action by building up both relationships. Helps us do well overall. Asking about inviting Meizhen might be nice too.
A third: Meizhen may be good here, given that the last event was pretty good fodder to bump this up a rank. Alternatively, Su Ling is nice as is Su Yuyin, or we could hit up Cai and start that social link.​

People who want attack arts, precommit to this plan, regardless of what's in it. We've got to consolidate if we want to get this done. I'm open to changing everything in the plan, as long as it just gets an attack art and starts to work on it. I don't care about what element it is or what meridians it uses and I'll take whatever major or minor actions are popular amongst the people voting for the plan. Let's just get this over with and leave behind all of the dumb, prolonged arguments.

Should also save the Beast Cores we found too in case the baby Spirit needs to eat them.

I think for minors, we should do Han Jian, Li Suyin, and the third depends on what mission we plan to take (And we should be doing missions now I might add).
 
How about we have the hair action with both Xiulan and Meizhen, hang out with Han Jian and study formations with Li Suyin? That way we'd shore up our relationships and make sure none of them turn to be a wreck.

I dunno about the Major action, but the Minor actions seem to be clear in my mind.
