Oh, piss off. We had discussed that we needed a way of doing massive damag to actually put our opponents down quickly for weeks, and the first time we get the chance to actually do that, people go "NOPE! I want the SHINY!" It's quite frankly moronic, for a number of different reasons, not the least of which is that it gives me even less of a reason to believe that people won't be distracted by the SHINY!!! the next time.
It's like trying to do a D and D game with ADHD teenagers.
Seriously, this art in no way, shape or form helps our biggest weakness, which is a way to take people out of the fight quickly. And every time the other person gets to roll, they have a chance of getting that one roll they need to take us out. It's like using a Blue MTG deck without any actual monsters or damage spells to drive the win home; it might work against the scrubs, but it won't against someone that actually has the vaguest idea of what they're doing.
So yes, I have at least two reasons to be hostile: This isn't the deal that was made, and people are driving our development path towards disaster. Because if we get beaten by a disciple, it's likely that we'll lose training time. If we get beaten by a spirit? It's likely that we'll lose our life.
Edit: Three reasons. The fucking compromisers are costing FSA the victory.
