Forge of Destiny(Xianxia Quest)

Ha is it wrong that I find people who votes for hidden moon just for the sake of making Xin happy pathetic?

I mean it is one thing to devote tourself to others but basing a life's decision just to please another rather than what you feel is best for you is almost slave like.

Anyway, guess who did art of her new husbando. Not necessarily finished, but I might just stop here cause I have no time to do anything anymore and this was mostly quick, rough, and dirty~
Ooo, nice. Really nice work on his mask especially.

I kind of feel like his pants should probably be loose and baggy though? Right now they look fairly tight. If we look at Sun's description in week 32, that's what they were, and it would be more in-genre...

[X] Dreaming Moon

Since we are a musician I feel we should go for this one. Makes a lot of sense to me. We steal stuff so we can host better parties. Any of them are aswome.

[X] Dreaming Moon

Torn between this and Hidden, voting Dreaming mostly because I like the thought of improving Ling's music more.

That's normal human comportement. Scratch my back and I will scratch yours and all that jazz.

[X] Hidden Moon

Look.

Xin is great, and I just don't care about any of the other Moon embodiments. I feel like I, personally, owe her that much as a show of thank for all she's done for Ling Qi.

Oh?

So feeling a debt of gratitude and wishing to repay kindness in kind is pathetic now, is it?

Why.

How very interesting.

Tell me, oh sagacious rationalist. What exactly makes a worthwhile human being in your eyes? Because it sounds to me like one of the basic foundations of civilization, the Golden Rule, seems to be utterly beneath you.

And I would so love to hear what you consider to be a paragon worth emulating. All the better to dissect that pointless conceit for what it truly is.

If You Know It's Offensive, Try Not Using It.
But this is an entire tier of difference it is like choosing a future career and rather than choosing the one you want you choose the same career as your professor whom you admire.

That's quite a normal stuff to do, to choose a career that doesn't enthusiast you but that your mother did (reminder that Xin was one of the mother figure in the breaktrough) is perfectly normal.

I am aware that SV can't into people but that's still impressively autistic (no offense meant).

It is not feeling gratitude that I find pathetic it is overly giving back that I find pathetic. I mean helping others who help you is only natural but having the sole reason for choosing a quite frankly life defining decision be your relationship with someone rather than if it is the most beneficial or because you feel it is best for you is stupid and will ultimately hinder you.

We know that this is one of at least three choices so it is hardly exclusive and Xin was Ling Qi's gateway into becoming a disciple of the moon at all. Giving one of the slots to Xin seems perfectly appropriate.

Moon tutor!!!!!! He sounds attractive and I'm immediately invested. You probably could have written him even more to my taste, @yrsillar, but you'd be hard pressed.

*bloody nose*

This is amazing. Husbando decided. Bad boy wins

"How dare you let this person who's changed your life by giving you the greatest opportunities you've literally ever had affect your life-changing decisions like that!

"It's not like these possibilities wouldn't exist without them constantly encouraging and sending them our way or anything!"

I'll be blunt. If I owe someone my life, my left hand is a small price to pay.

Ling Qi may be greedy as all hell (which setting aside the synergy there) but she also values and repays her debts.

And Ling Qi only owes Meizhen more.

You might call it hindering, sure. But I'll say this. Because of that person, I'll have accomplished more with that one hand than I ever would have managed with both otherwise. That is a Ling Qi without Xin's guidance in the Outer Sect.

What would Ling Qi be like without Xin's assistance? Can you even imagine it?

Honestly, mindsets like yours...you don't understand just how powerful and life-affirming it is to pay someone whom you owe back. The strength of those bonds. Yeah, sure, you could accomplish similar feats with less loss if you were willing to never do someone else a good turn.

But you know what?

When you stop keeping score, so do they. And instead of two hands, you have three.

Three > two. It's basic math, buddy.

Plus, it's not like we're making a commitment for the rest of our lives here, so much as doing the Cultivator equivalent of job shadowing.

Well I don't think that someone already posted it, but Yrs said a few thin about YR

Yrsillar - Today at 2:20 PM

Well I'll just say this, if that background roll had gone through Zhengui would have been temporarily crippled and his cultivation slowed down a lot, but it wouldn;t have killed him or done any permanent maiming, which would have caused sect response

YR ouldn't have killed, but he still deserves a few dozens arrows imo

Yrsillar - Today at 2:21 PM

Messing with a new noble disciples family who are explicity under the sects protection and outside the competition is something else
In theory YR could attack Ling's family but afterwards the Sect would descend upon him with all its divin wrath so they are fairly safe

Oh, well, I did say it was more of a roughie! But also, I picture the loose pants to be more loose around the feet rather than the groin/waist?

It's kind of a mid-thigh up pic :V
