Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

but fortunately we all had commitments keeping us from immediately exploring how the fundamental structure of the universe could be undermined in the service of the textile industry.

Alternate line:

but we already had upcoming projects looming over us

I know, but "Useless Bisexual" just doesn't have the same ring to it. :p Fair, though.

Make it "Useless Polyamorous Bisexual", and it has multiple rings to it! :p But, as a "Useless Bisexual", I can assure you that the ring is there. ;)

While Gully's treatment was probably going to be taken as a good sign, it wasn't the kind of thing that would encourage a calm and reasonable approach by Case 53s who had been suffering with their condition for their entire lives. Unless we took some kind of proactive action, there was a decent chance that the otherwise positive situation could turn ugly.

"We're going to have to address this, at least to some level." I said. "Probably through Gregor."
Probably good to have a established point of contact right now. If anything the amount of Case 53's frenzy is gonna increase once Gully's cured state leaks and having that "official contact" would reduce the chaos in the city.

The fact that The entire Olympus Pantheon is getting drunk & overdoses with Celestial Forge produced wine will never get any less funny for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yah sea pe..presian?... Percy! I'm yer dah!

Okay what chapter is it revealed the Olympians are drinking Joe's wine
Not much of a reveal but more of a mechanic honestly. He sacrifices something to a bonfire in the altar specifically made for a specific god. And that's how it happens.

...it also just so happens that Joe is sacrificing wine to them. So yeah, they're all drunks right now and if he wanted for the imaginary war to happen on Olympus he could literally just stop and it would most likely happen or something (granted, Joe himself would no longer have the blessing boosts he has tnx to said sacrifices but it's fun to imagine).

I'm kind of curious about what movie the Matrix will pick now. What movies combine building something with personal or spiritual growth? The only one that immediately comes to mind is Field of Dreams, but the actual construction of the field is a very minor part of the movie.

Perhaps something like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? I'd like to believe that the Matrix is developing both in skill/power and ethics. Thus a film that demonstrates extreme tech abilities (bespoke planet creation, the Infinite Improbability Drive) while contrasting with environmentalism/ethics (destroying Earth to allow for construction of a transportation bypass.

I knooooow~ xD
I can't wait for when he gets to go meet them at some point, cause it'll be hilarious. I bet they haven't gotten I thing done since he started drugging them xD

IIRC, there's a big perk which upgrades it to 'everything' called "The Maddest Science Yet!" - or similar, which Joe could roll.
Yeah, isn't that pretty much a full unlock of Washu's entire tech tree? About the only things that doesn't include are the Royal Trees and the Lighthawk Wings which are products of a different goddess.

But yeah; he could give Tetra a pet Cabbit, what could go wrong?

Do you have a list of your most favorite statements? Because I see this and it makes me think that you have.

On that subject, what is everyone favorite ridiculous statement?

From this chapter? The one that everyone seems to have missed to far:

Even if I could recreate the shield world system for every parahuman, they wouldn't all recognize the influence in the same way she did.

And that was not an option. Not that an assembly line of planets was particularly difficult, but...

Just picture the PRT reaction to him saying the phrase "An assembly line of planets". Especially in the context of "...is not the difficult part..."
