Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Presumably he puts in serious consideration to joining the Forge, causing a cascade of most of the Undersiders defecting.
Tayler, Bitch and Alec would be the only one's willing to join CF. Grue won't because trust issues and Telltale want's control so bad she is not willing to work with anyone unless she has control to the point even when she know Jo would never harm her or abuse her she still refused to ask for help because she can't handle not being in control.

Taylor joining the Forge has been a 'hahaha no' response from when she collapsed a 'worthless, abandoned' (to her) world heritage site in the name of ~~~power testing~~~ and is the reason we assume the first thing she'd do with medical tech is try to rip herself in half and deliberately do like the animorphs book with the starfish cover.

Well that's a rather unhelpful unit of measurement; ""You'll only be as mature as you think you are at some point in the future, but I'm not going to tell you when that is~" *Goofy-impression-ass laugh*".

Bro, ask any parent, that's how it works *Goofy laugh*

Hydrokinetic, tinker (or close enough between the space compression book and the star trek superscience), neathbow savant-master, unicorn rider, Titan pilot, and, of course, the thing she's actually employed for; fashion-speaker.

Aisha: My name is Lethe, and I speak for fashion.

I mean, first thing she did when she got super armor was jump from a building, ripping herself in half isn't a non-posibility.

Unleashing Taylor into the Workshop is worse than any apocalyptic plague or technology that Joe might release into the world.

On that note though, if Joe were really looking to recruit a "normal" person to fill Aisha's role, there is an obvious answer: a non-cape. A civilian. Because not only would that be rid of the pesky passengers messing with things, it would also let Joe recruit someone with potentially far less trauma and problems than your usual cape. It's not like he'd be recruiting them for their powers anyway, since not only would it be extremely unlikely that their powers would matter, Joe himself has a better power catalogue than anything Cauldron could provide.

From there, the list could include any non-cape that Joe could trust, it could be Chen (unlikely), it could be his therapist (even more unlikely), or it could even be one of Joe's acquaintances from the gym. Imagine the terror of Mrs. Gartenberg being unleashed with the full resources of the Celestial Forge!

On the one hand it would a horribly terrible idea to let Taylor know about anything.

On the other hand, watching Taylor panic because there is no bugs inside the Workshop.

On the one tentacle, the Splatton crabs are there, and I would be surprised if Taylor can control those like normal crabs. Not to mention the bug weapon thing from MH that Joe very specifically didn't want anywhere near Tay.

Aisha's the Fashion Lorax?

Asiha would stick a moustache to her face. I mean, her armor's faceplate. Señor Lethe, totally different from normal Lethe because Señor Lethe is evil. Eviler. Just a smidge..... Señor Lethe drinks tea from bags, the savage.

"My name is Lethe, and I speak for Fashion. Garment wants you to know that thingy is fucking nasty, bro."

"...How bad could it possibly be?"

"First of all, that polka dot tie you got there? God lord"

....Wait, imagine this: Garment and Lethe wombo combo against the S9's fashion sense. Joe already mentioned G hated Shatterbird because of her crappy glass "dress" after all.

Jack Slash's greatest dream is to be remembered by everyone. Lethe should be his worst nightmare personified.
"Don't worry Jacob, none of your 'friends' remember you anymore and by the time I'm done with you? No-one will, ever again."

"Does the Protectorate have a lava surfing course?"
"No? What about mech basketball? I mean some of your guys have to have at least tried it…"

As I have mentioned in the past, I've seen this before. In Predatory Missy in an alternate cape persona kills basically the entirety of the s9 horror movie style. Jack got a variation on Aisha's power applied to him after his death. People know the s9 had a leader but they can't tell you anything about him.

Worse there are bugs in there being the kinsect and the bugs in the colours lab tho given the size of the workshop and the privacy screen she might not be able to control them. The splatoon things are also sea snails btw.

Grue would have to completely abandon his distrust of the "unstable tinker" before he'd ever be able to join. He's currently got a rather skewed view of Joe due to all of the things that have occurred around him, especially the Ungodly Hour. He also has no clue that Joe is the only member that is/was Human, Survey, The Matrix and Fleet are all AI's (more or less), and Tybalt, Tetra & Garment are familiars, sort of.

"Why do you want to join?"
"I can't trust you guys not to do something crazy and disruptive (because you do it constantly) and if I can't get off planet and out of the splash zone, I might as well join to get a say in the water temperature."

Actually, doesn't the workshop have environmentally appropriate wildlife? Joe was talking about people being attacked by packs of wolves. So, presumably, the Texas sized landmass should have bugs.

The wildlife portion of the 'village' themed upgrades in the storage supplement stay away from the 'populated' areas of the Warehouse as far as I'm aware. So they might end up out of her range.

Merry Christmas from Texas CST! Also yeah it's hilarious how Taylor is the least trusted member of the Undersiders. Joe has been partially honest with his abilities with everyone but her at this point.

Taylor: why don't you trust me?

Joe: you drop a building.

Taylor: so? that's not the wor-

Jo: using tinker-tec that i made for purely defense.

Taylor:.............I see the problem hare.

Lisa: no she doesn't.

Joe: don't make cryo pod. it's wrong to kidnap and freeze people. don't make cryo pod. it's wrong to kidnap and freeze people. don't make cryo pod. it's wrong to kidnap and freeze people.

"Wait, you trust all of them more than me?"

"Yes, of course. They're pretty transparent."

"Even Lisa?"

"Oh yeah, once you have the literally supernatural ability to see through manipulation, she's just an exhausted paranoiac."

"And Alec?"

"Well, ever since I regenerated his atrophied 'empathy' lobe he's actually a model citizen. Just confused about which model."

"Brian?"

"Oh please, he's the most basic of the lot of you. Just your average teenage idiot with a mobster's sense of propriety."

"Surely not Rachel?"

"Literally a kicked puppy. Completely adorable but also tragic in an orphan waif kind of way. Easily the most understandable of all of you."

"So how do I rate then?"

"Assassin bug crossed with a Xenomorph. And no you can't have hyper-acid blood. Not even for your birthday."

Aisha: Hey Joe, if my brother quits the Undersiders, can I hire him as an assistant?
Joe: Sure, but you're responsible for his behavior while he's working for you.
Aisha: Oh. Never mind then.
Brian: That was a joke, right? Please tell me that was a joke.

The worst thing about Taylor is that she's so destructive while trying to be a good guy. Taylor decides to go out to be a hero. Within a couple days is threatening civilians with black widows and dismembering Wards. Then within a couple weeks is destroying historical monuments.

Huh, just realised Aisha and Alec haven't met in this timeline. Or have they?
I mean she's definitely aware of him and he knows Lethe at least has a normal human nervous system but that's about it.

Tangent to that, does Aisha's planet now mean she won't show up on his nerve-sense anymore?

Also, does anyone else want her to play a little prank on Lisa and go change all her notes regarding the Forge to say "the Celestial Forge has seven eight members – signed Lethe" or similar? Preferably while Lisa is working alone in her digs at the hideout.

Canon Brian made a ton of stupid decisions, starting with becoming a villain to help his sister rather then joining the Wards
Who knows why an African American man in America's Neo Nazi capital might be reluctant to associate with law enforcement. How stupid he is for not getting paid minimum wage from an organization he has no reason to trust and isn't guaranteed to help him anyway. /s

That would be far more convincing if PRT werent constantly clashing against said Nazis. Police? Fair. PRT as a trooper? Iffy but may be. But goddamn Protectorate? Uh-huh.

Not helping with Aisha's case more realistic reason. Though even then one could argue that could've been his point of bargain "I am singing up if you help me with getting my sister out of drug addicted mother". I think I need to remind people that you are not legally obliged to join Protectorate. Its in THEIR interest to strike a bargain to gain more manpower otherwise the potential recruit might just walk out and then later either die or get snatched by some other, potentially hostile, faction.

Also wanted to point out that Alec having a forcefield should not be reason Brian isn't assaulting his friend/teammate, no matter how annoying he is.
When said teammate is actively spreading rumours about you - yeah, no. Its all "Haha funny misunderstanding" up until its not funny. I am not really trusting even healed Alec to have brakes when it comes to stuff like this if only out of his own ingrained habit.
