Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Everyone thinks Truth would take something Victor needs physically, when all Truth would have to take from the vaunted skill thief is so much more ephemeral than base matter. Truth would take every skill Victor has, down to literally first concepts learned before the ability to see. That would be suitably ironic for Truth to go for. Leave Victor physically fine, but make him unable to blink, unable to drink, unable to eat solid food. Nevermind unable to talk until he steals it, nevermind basic pattern recognition, nevermind how to identify a face...

It wont work out because even if the soul still exists he cant catch it because he doesnt know how to create a Corona Pollentia and even if he does, he doesnt know how to connect the body with the shard in question. And that is not even counting on the equivalent exchange rule. Even bonesaw or amelia are unable to create them, only able to make clones of parhumans which have the same structure in their brains.

The knowledge of alchemy is also something not easy to develop. I mean, is an esoteric science that took hundreds of years to appear. Even if shards are trying to learn it, it will take time (maybe years) to develop it in a bigger scale because they are learning from almost nothing. Even Victor is only able to pull out simple transmutation and that is because he knows almost every knowledge known to humankind and has the concentration skills to use it which most parahumans dont have. The only thing that scares me is the possibility of using the souls in the shards like a philosopher's stone making parahumans able to use non circle alchemy.

Honestly all this panic over alchemy spreading when Ape can just do what Father did down in his chamber and just form an underground network to limit the tectonic energy. Hell, with Matrix it probably would be able to be done in less than an afternoon! Then again, the Shards may just straight up start eating the costs to investigate this new and interesting thing...

My thoughts. Alchemy getting out is BAD. Because what happens if, say the Slaughterhouse 9, get hold of it? I can absolutely see them trying to mass transmute, say the entirety of NYC.
Also how is Truth going to react to the Entities? Their whole goal is cheating Thermodynamics, the mundane equivalent of the law of Equivalent Exchange.

he could gain something without losing something of equal value. When the time finally came, the excha
Victor learned Alchemy.
But he did not learn the most important aspect of it.
Equivalent Exchange.
Things are altered at a 1:1 Ratio.
Well, they are if you aren't Apeiron.

Victor is going to sacrifice an arm, leg and accidentally his wife to create a chimera of his dead fiancee, isn't he?

Did anyone entertain the idea, that TRUTH might take something not only from Victor but from his shard as well?

Also, isn't this weird that a literal Nazi is somehow more stable and sympathetic than an (almost) average teenage girl?

Everything Victor does, any data he gains, will go to Scion/Zion in the end. The golden idiot don't realize it now because he's sad but eventually he will realize that he can resurrect the Thinker.
So yeah here's the endgame: Joe and the forge vs The Thinker and The warrior who's actually no more depressed but highly motivated.

You have some strange view on life... an average teenage girl is what she is: teenage. Their brain is not fully developed, and teenagers, men and women alike, are known to be sociopathic to a certain level. Some has it worse, some has it better.

A fully grown man supporting nacism is not more stable nor symphatetic. Wehrmacht and SS were judged at Norimbergs trial and when tried to defend themselves that they only followed orders... Well, watch some documentaries or read some books about how it went...

No, he's gonna lose something a lot more precious: his parahuman powers. All the skills he stole. He'll get back his waifu at the cost of everything that make him useful to the E88 (and the nazi).

Additionally, keeping his current wife will make some delicious drama.

Plot twist. Truth takes payment from Zion when he tries to ressurect Eden. What kind of payment would make most sense?

The ability to complete a cycle.

*me, beating victor over the head with a stick* STOP THWACK MEDDLING THWACK WITH THWACK KNOWLEDGE THWACK BEYOND THWACK YOUR THWACK COMPREHENSION THWACK THWACK THWACK

Thirty-five liters of water. Twenty kilograms of carbon. Four liters of ammonia. One and a half kilograms of lime. Eight hundred grams of phosphorus. Two hundred and fifty grams of salt. A hundred grams of saltpeter. Eighty grams of sulfur. Seven and a half grams of fluorine. Five grams of iron. Three grams of silicon. Combined with trace amounts of fifteen other elements and he could make a human body, a living human body.
Isn't this a wrong equation? Game theory even made a video about it.

Note that I am only vaguely familiar with FMA
Almost everything I know about FMA is from this FanFic series. That said, I'm pretty sure (from the part of tha アニメ that I have watched) that Victor's list of ingredients for a human body is a near direct quote from the マンガ (ma n ga) and アニメ (a ni me).

From that I'm figuring that Victor's attempt will be just as successful. Given that Victor's dead SO is Othala's sister(?) she'll probably be willing to take part (wonder if Kaiser will be willing to provide a suit of armour).

He won't get his wife back either. Once a soul has fully passed through the gate, it's impossible to get them back.

Now depending on which FMA this is based on you either get a homunculus which will eventually grow into a parahuman like existence or just a practically dead horrific monster that will die soon after. Neither of which is the wife.

I see problem with Alchemy elsewhere. Contessa has access to a multiverse and nigh-infinite resources like, let's say alive beings. She could setup a world-spanning alchemy circle in some undeveloped world with a few dozens million people and do her thing without anyone wiser. And most of Cauldron would do it. They have proven themselves to be capable of incredible monstrosities. She can easily make the philosopher stones, work around the equivalent exchange law. Cauldron could create Homunculi with powers FAR beyond The Father...
She could create beings that would make 99% of paras and other human obsolete with ease.

That is why I think Apeiron was just nerfed. He is fighting against unscrupolous assholes, but unknowingly, who will do anything, ANYTHING to get more power.

They only know the basics, philosopher's stone creation, large-scale transmutation circles, and Homunculi creation are advanced techniques it's unlikely even with shard assistance they'd get that far before Joe shuts them down.

...God fucking damn it, Victor.

And everyone else working to understand Alchemy.

Somewhere, Truth is already laughing his pale little ass off. Because he gets to play with a brand new world.

Homunculus and horrific monster would still give me my dose of drama.

Shards don't have any data about Alchemy (it's Outside Context), so they won't help.

I'm willing to bet that the limbs and organs sacrificed to Truth have a mark on the soul and a conceptual significance such that Othalla can't just regen back any losses... that realisation will be delicious. And this interleude really makes makes me admire the sheer skill and organisational ability Roust has, adding another plate effortlessly to the odd-dozen already spinning in the air.

If there is anything at all left of him. Ed's limbs and Alphonse's entire body weren't enough to get their mother back. I'm pretty sure the end result of this is his previous fiance's body left alone in the basement for a very confused Othala to find. Victor's gonna vanish if he keeps going this route and that's just the plain TRUTH.

He going to meet truth. What will he take from victor?

Every skill he ever stole and the ability to take them. Huh would a whole Shard be enough to satisfy Truth? It would be painfully ironic for him to lose everything that he thinks makes him superior, and just Truth's style.
