You. I like your style.
Edit: I don't rehost often, but the avatar quote was too good to pass up. That work, folks?

You might want to rehost that. As it is, if he changes his avatar, the pic will change, rendering the joke meaningless to all those who will wander these desolate pages in the years after the apocalypse, clicking next page time and time again, reading through stories both great, terrible, and the one about Florida mating with Australia, reading the discussions on methods of moon colonization, the efficacy of centuries-old weaponry, and whether or not kobolds can drown, reading as their eyes bleed from the concentrated pointlessness of 90% of the pages after the hundredth, reading forever.
Expanding on UberJJK's point, the eyes were probably added to seem more human and the horns as a distinguishing feature if IFF was disrupted. We're no longer flying solo hundreds of miles from support, its important that we're recognisable to other Valks and not creep them the hell out.I think it would be more interesting if – rather than having the obvious visor-like front in that pic – Anna's helmet was just a smooth curve of jet black. Windows are a structural weakpoint.
And where we're going, we don't need eyes.

So you may want to rehost it on imgur or reverse image search it to find the sauce. Or just ask Guile.
So, I decided to try and sketch out parts of the power armor the normal soldiers use. I'm a meh artist, so this isn't that good. Compared to Renu and Familiar's art, this is crap.
Oh that high note, enjoy.
I feel like the armor should be a little bulkier, but oh well.
Nah, just draw whatever you like. Its all good.
Eh, still better than the few attempts when I've tried drawing myself. Just keep at it, and you will get better. I don't think anyone here will crucify you for not managing to make absolutely jaw dropping pieces of art immediately.

Like it.The first year cadet known as Rosa Silvia appears, not wearing her usual garb but rather the instructor's uniform.
You posted one more time. Keep up now.
To para-phrase a poster in an unrelated thread: 'the main characters were uninteresting because they acted like mature, reasonable adults' (talking about Shadow of Mordor).
Sentiments like these is why the 'idiot ball' trope is so very common: sometimes, for the sake of a good story, someone just has to screw up.
What'the main characters ... acted like mature, reasonable adults'
Not one of them acted like a kid, not even for one second? Only one conclusion can be drawn from this...
However, on a meta level, it is a powerful character building episode that's ALSO full of awesome action. Which is good for relevance, because it raises questions.Having fully read this story i find it to be amazing. I do have to admit that the scenario chosen was a bad idea for multiple reason (that i can think of): yukari having fought in that battle had lost friends means that having to go through the trauma again but it could help her deal with it if she can understand that regardless of your skill there will always be causualties in war; anna though is a far bigger issue though as her very character revolves around fighting the enemy for years trying to save her home but as she was only 1 person losses couldn't be fully prevented, and with the constant fear of death the people went mad trying to survive in any way possible, culminating in anna's last resort assault which not only destroyed a breach and a hive but also killed a major threat to humanities forces yet the town was finished due to crazed infighting over the little girl trying to save them. The trauma makes it easier to fight the enemy but makes it much harder to interact with her allies

which brings to mind the question of what their thoughts will be if they find out the truth of her past? I mean it is a ghastly thing after all.

The only way that it's ghastly is the type of ghastly that involves lots of hugs for the survivors. I literally cannot see how anything could be blamed on her in that scenario.Well, none of them are tremendous enough assholes to blame her in any way for it, so it probably won't be anything too bad.
