Familiar - Project Valkyrie Core Volume One
Paint.NET has been my best friend for the past week or so, and this is the result:

Now available in stores nowhere near you, Valkyrie Core manga Volume One!

Here's the title:

And here are the flat version and some rough drafts:

Should I do another volume?

Wooooooooooah. Nice one. You know, I think I'll go slap that onto the front page or something.

I would encourage you do another for your own sake. You can only improve your abilities.

Plus ya know... Draw fags are the best kind of contributers to a quest, besides, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see more.

Next thing you know, someone posts a couple of strips. And then a chapter. Before you know it, we really will have a full manga volume available.

You know, all these great 10k+ word count omakes and amazing art are great, and I'm glad for Avalanche that he has such a loyal readership that they're willing to do these things for his story.

But I'll be proud of the fact that I wrote the very first omake for this quest.

Y'know, I just finished reading the 'Pygmalion' omakes again and realized that the conspiracy theorist is going to be fucking vibrating in her seat if she figures out that Anna not only doesn't use the bathroom, but is also shrinking.

Hey, is it just me, or did part of post 15 make it seem as though Yukari had some form of Aegis?
But the saving throws are off the charts!
Ah, but not all spells allow saves.
And that's not considering magic items.
...
high-level 3.5 spellcasters are kinda god-tier...

One idea that seems to come up in every fandom:
The main cast plays D&D. Who want's to put this together?

Now, there's two schools of thought with these.
The first has them basically play the closest they can get to themselves, like so:
Sandra: DM, of course
Anna:
Shuri:
Koujirou:
Setsuna:
Yukari:
But playing as yourself, while possibly a fun novelty, is far from common, as far as I can see, so I think it would be more interesting to try to figure out what they would want to play as: Anna could be a barbarian (coming from an isolated area, not to mention rage), a fighter, monk, or wizard (representing the sheer amount of flightime she has) but promising to look after Koujirou and Setsuna, and her attempts to protect everyone paint her more towards paladin.

Come on man, shrinking? No anime company's going to go that deep. It's probably just inconsistent animation.
