i have a feeling they made Yukari a 'mentor' more for her sake than the flight's.
to be fair anna is a very special case, and yukari for all we know the school is having her mentor her brother's flight in hopes that she would be able get past some of her emotional baggage that is preventing her from joining other flights.

So @Avalanche, it looks like you're having problems keeping the names straight. That's a problem with so many names that start with the letter S, my dear.
Avalanche used that name for a one-off fauxchan valk, and then confused the name Syifa Wulandari with his previously established character Rosa Silvia that he used for the other experienced 1st year valk.
