I kind of see the helmet as being like the EVA one from Halo multiplayer, except without so much sniper-magnet shininess or the massive chin.

Googling the phrase in google images brings to mind an absolutely hilarious image of Durga's helmet. I think I might edit that description to use plainer language, except that I'm not sure how to rephrase it, the description is technically correct and my English in geometry is not very strong.

EDIT: Maybe just add 'tapered'.
Did you possibly mean 'oblong'?

Theres also the fact that just posting equations about how to create weapons that can be felt on the other side of the planet is all kinds of illegal.
I think that at this point, all the equations about WFM that humanity knows are on the order of what you can find in any high school physics textbook about nuclear fusion: a mathematical model of how it could work, which does almost nothing for you when it comes to building a functional device.

Nope, its known that it was developed studying Anna and the G-weapons that are being built are attempts to reverse engineer Transendent Offense. Considering that we got pinged for looking at the stuff we can assume its not something cadet Valks are meant to know or at least Arcology residents (and they didn't even recognise us as a Valk).

The only defininition of "oblong" I've ever encountered is "rectangle which is not a square" (and even that's me extrapolating from useage). As I've got older the term dropped out of use entirely, at least in any context I've actually encountered.
A quick google says this is a valid definition, but it Also means, roughly, any regular shap which has been extended in one direction. Ovals, square (rectangular) prisms, other shapes i previously had no way of describing, such as medicine capsules (edit: or not? I'm unsure on that last one.).
...
I woke up less than half an hour ago and learned something new already.

Then it seems you are ahead of the curve.

Damn, you'd think there'd be a way to make a joke out of that. Curve, oblong... you know?

See, I always imagined Anna's helmet as looking like this, but the slight point at the rear was tapered outwards kinda similarly to how the mouth part does. Also a substantially smaller visor, and horns.

I mean, I could have described it as 'a motorcycle helmet with only eyeholes and with a few too many knocks to the side of the noggin' but that's not really Anna you know.

That was basically my idea as well, but I thought there was a mention in-story about having separate eyeholes rather than a single visor.

EDIT: Ninjas, ninjas everywhere.

Personally, I'd always kind of imagined Anna's current setup as looking somewhat like Aqua's helmet from KH.

I think it would be more interesting if – rather than having the obvious visor-like front in that pic – Anna's helmet was just a smooth curve of jet black. Windows are a structural weakpoint.

And where we're going, we don't need eyes.

Sadly while we use to have a fully opaque helmet Durga's upgraded form comes with a visor:
Your helmet though had gained a transparent visor and details rather than encasing your head as a blank oblong. If you felt like it, you could use your eyes rather than your sensors now when the frame was fully expressed.
