One idea that seems to come up in every fandom:
The main cast plays D&D. Who want's to put this together?
Well, there was a brief snippet here that didn't make it onto the omake list. Now if we assume that they play different from themselves, and that Sandra is GMing:

Anna either brings an unholy munchkinized kobold small dragon-like humanoid to the table, or goes full spoony bard, coming up with ideas and solutions that wouldn't have occurred to the other players or the GM.

Shuri has a straightforward Soulknife/Soulbow, and doesn't really care that her character is mostly overshadowed by everybody else.

Koujirou plays as a support-heavy caster, and keeps thinking about changing his playstyle to CoDzilla instead of CC and Healbot, but doesn't because it would make the game unfun for everybody else.

Setsuna plays as an Ardent, spamming Ectoplamsic constructs and Energy Beams, an occasionally forgetting that she can have multiple mantles up at the same time.

Yukari plays a rouge or bard that is super-optimized just to keep up with the rest of the party. Often relies on her high CHA, Bluff, Diplomacy, and Perform ranks.

Totally not her fault though. She just had no clue about this "Tabletop-game" so she fed Durga the sourcebooks. How would she know Durga'd react to it in the same way it would to being given equations, and try to solve this "Character Creation" in the most efficient way possible.

Reminds me of my time as a DM.
I pulled the whole, ticket Hayes you, thing once. Ahh...

Before I start to thinking too hard on this: could you please define "autonomous," I'm not entirely sure what you mean by it in this context.
In the latest update, it makes mention of drone units.
The carrier belched smoke and fire, shaking as secondary detonations thundered out, yet tanks continued to roll out of the stricken vessel. The all-drone first waves were just as fearless as the Antagonists in following their programmed purpose, and smashed into the alien machines, both sides without reason, without pity, without remorse and without fear. Neither side would stop, ever, until the other was destroyed.

Presumably there's quite a bit, since IIRC, one of the traits a more positive world was that, well, they have a lower impact on fights. Implying that they've got a high impact on fights right now.

Also, it is only -1 rather than anything higher/lower. A + world would have the MC's deal with everything in increasingly wacky adventures the further up the scale you go, while the higher the - worlds go, the more corrupt officials could be bribed to lower humanities defenses/ incompetent soldiers decide that maintaining equipment matters less than drinking another bottle/etc.

When you're facing things that take several entire tank brigades with constant air support to even kill, I can't blame those soldiers for choosing the bottle over the rag/lubricant/*insert maintenance tool here*.

...
It's people like you that let the rest of us down. Especially Anna.
You don't want to let Anna down, do you?

I can.

Because if they didn't crawl into the bottle and instead properly performed their duties we'd only need one entire tank brigade and some air support instead of the multiples of both just to cover the crap maintenance of man and materiel.

Unless I missed something, I don't think anyone has asked what the types look like. SO, Avalanche-Senpai, what do they look like? And what do the drones on both sides look like?

Familiar - Project Valkyrie Core Volume Two
Alright, the second one is complete. I think I'll do one more after this, and then take a break from drawing for a while.

Now available in stores nowhere near you, Project Valkyrie Core manga Volume Two!

Here's roughly what the patch on the shoulder looks like:

And here are the flat version and some rough drafts:

So yeah, one more volume and I'ma cool my jets on the fanart for a while. Last one's gonna continue the pattern of two characters, guess who.

I love it, but the one thing that keeps nagging me is that the logo changed. It went from purple to red, "Project" was added to the title, and there is now a grey/white above the title on the spine.

Don't get me wrong, I love it; I'm just curious about the changes.

No problem, I'll explain what happened. I'm open to any advice on the formatting of the cover. As you can see, it's still a work in progress.

The plan is to change the color of the logo every volume, so it'll be different for the next one, as well.

The 'Project' appeared because that is apparently what the anime is actually called: Project Valkyrie Core. I noticed when Avalanche added my last one to the fanart index that it was listed as such. So that addition's a correction on my part.

The grey bar on the spine was to balance it when I shifted the title to make room for the 'project'. without it, it looked a little lopsided to me.

Familiar - Valkyrie Frame Durga Concept Study
Maybe the scene where Anna loads up on bread, or perhaps one of those double-page splash images like Kojiro using his final attack on Anna's thumb.
Oh, I get what you're saying now, like a scene from inside one of the volumes, instead of just covers like I've been doing.

... Hmm, maybe I will do something like that, though I'm afraid to do anything involving expressed Valkyrie suits. I'm not really sure what they're like. They've been described before, but I'm not sure if they only slightly bigger than the pilots like say the Iron Man suit, or if it's like Infinite Stratos in that the machines about double their size.

Edit: Added some sketches of a more lithe build. These are some examples of a size closer to Iron Man. So like this, or more mass?

Edit x2: Goddangit, I said I was gonna slow down on the art, too.

We can safely say they aren't like IS in the fact half of them are basically skintight suits & a few pieces of armour, at least. And Durga has horns? I was thinking of it as a smooth humanoid shape till now...

Yup. They're how the sensor-suit is expressed. It's in Durga's description as "Large, backswept horns", I think.

Also for future reference I believe Anna's halberd is a spear made of plasma rather than an axe. Its not described as plasma however since its developed from a welding torch I assume.
With a slight flex of her wrist, she is holding a blue spear, four and a half meters long, that rips right through Yukari's Impeller whips. A melee halberd of some type. You didn't know she had one. In the same instant, a shrug of her Impeller Field gathers the plasma surrounding her frame around her head, where it scatters another laser attack. You really needed to learn those tricks. In time you will, but now?
