Also for future reference I believe Anna's halberd is a spear made of plasma rather than an axe. Its not described as plasma however since its developed from a welding torch I assume.
In that case 'she is holding a blue spear' 'You really needed to learn those tricks' both refer to the same person, meaning the perspective is wrong.
I don't think that is the case, though. Nice try but it doesn't work.

I believe that snip was from the 3v1 fight where we temporarily saw things from Koujirou's perspective, so the wording would match in that case.

So, I decided to try and sketch out parts of the power armor the normal soldiers use. I'm a meh artist, so this isn't that good. Compared to Renu and Familiar's art, this is crap.

Oh that high note, enjoy.

I feel like the armor should be a little bulkier, but oh well.

Correct.

Familiar beat me too it, but really who else could this be? Shuri has a very distinctive multicomponent Halberd, Setsuna would loose to Yukari every time, Yukari wouldn't be fighting herself. Unless you think this quote describes Sandra there's no one left. Totally ignoring the fact that you can click the arrow on the quote to jump to it.

Oh, I get what you're saying now, like a scene from inside one of the volumes, instead of just covers like I've been doing.

... Hmm, maybe I will do something like that, though I'm afraid to do anything involving expressed Valkyrie suits. I'm not really sure what they're like. They've been described before, but I'm not sure if they only slightly bigger than the pilots like say the Iron Man suit, or if it's like Infinite Stratos in that the machines about double their size.

Edit: Added some sketches of a more lithe build. These are some examples of a size closer to Iron Man. So like this, or more mass?

Edit x2: Goddangit, I said I was gonna slow down on the art, too.
Just saw these and they're amazing!

These are pretty much exactly how I picture Durga. I really like how streamlined all the armor is, how it's somewhere between Iron Man and tactical gear.

Huzzah! After 2-3 days of binge reading, I've finally caught up! I'm not quite sure what else to say, but this quest has been pretty great so far!
Your comment fills me with mixed and confusing emotions.

On one hand, it's great of you to join us, and I'm glad to have you on board.

On the other hand, after Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Wigglytuff puts the fear of God in me.

I personally imagined it having more mass and sharp lines (more blocky?) The drawings still look great though just not how i would imagine it.

Wasn't there a think about Durga's helmet being a dome somewhere?
Durga's appearance had not changed drastically, the same smooth and rounded pure black armoured plates underset with a navy blue layer of flexible composite. Your helmet though had gained a transparent visor and details rather than staying as a blank oblate spheroid. If you felt like it, you could use your eyes rather than your sensors now when the frame was fully expressed. Small backswept horn structures emerged from the top of your helmet, with a shift of thought, you understand that the two new features were Durga's expression of the new sensor and communications systems issued to you.

This better then?
Looks great! Love the boot design, the detail on the knee plates, the articulation on the clawed hands.

Any thoughts on the old, pre-devourer-of-Antagonists Durga? I tried to draw 9 year old mecha-Anna floating around with boots, mittens, a fur ruff around her helmet (like she ate and then improved on a winter jacket) and a giant backpack, but making mecha cute is surprisingly hard and I'm not that good an artist.

That sound like a crossover with Kancolle.
:V

Nope. More of a football or grape. "spheroid" means it goes all the way around. "oblate spheroid" means "rotate an ellipse".
Googling the phrase in google images brings to mind an absolutely hilarious image of Durga's helmet. I think I might edit that description to use plainer language, except that I'm not sure how to rephrase it, the description is technically correct and my English in geometry is not very strong.

EDIT: Maybe just add 'tapered'.

*tests*
I'm only seeing math spheres, with lots of little rectangles crossing them.

I am perfectly okay with Durga looking like Onion Bro's armor.

Edit:
Durga as Fashion Souls
