Frankly, I get that some people here are a fair bit antsy because there hasn't been a new snippet in a while. However, it doesn't excuse foolishness or disgusting post(s) that would make people squick (and Stryp locking this thread faster than anyone can blink). If none of you have anything informative or trying to dig deeper into one of the on-going subplots in this fic, don't post anything at all. It's better to not post and practice patience, than to post something stupid.

So since we know Rei is gonna come back somehow, and since we know Kawuro is probably not gonna die here because that would mean at least to me that his character arc of rising above the call was for nothing, I have to ask something that I've been wondering for awhile.
Do all the angels need to die for SEELE or Gendo to enact their instrumentality plans? Cuz as far as I remember one just needs the forbidden union of Lilith and Adam to become as God. In the show I'm pretty sure both parties were just waiting until all the angels were died so they wouldn't have to worry about an angel fucking up their plans right?
Anyways I thought that if I'm correct and you don't need all the angels to die to activate an instrumentality then why does Kawuro see it as if he must die so Rei, Asuka, and Shinji can be done with it all.
I mean yeah really couldn't Kawuro have just gone and killed Seele and Gendo by now? just kill them after the 16th angel is dealt with and boom, the only thing left to worry about is Kawruo resisting the call but even then Rei, Asuka, and Shinji could focus without the distractions of Seele and Gendo on just helping Kawrou resist the call.

I believe that angles can highjack instrumentality, which is kinda the whole point in why both Seele and Gendo need a 'control', rei for Gendo and mass-produced Eva's for Seele.

If I may be permitted make one final, brief derail, whatever happened to the plot-bunny @akrasiel23 made? It was quite interesting. Was it ever adopted?
Now, to avoid a threadban. I actually kind of wish Kaworu does fight and die trying to get to Adam (Lilith), and give Shinji and Asuka some alone time to develop. As I've said before, their relationship so far has been utterly perfect...which is why I'd like to see them actually have some strife introduced for them to work through and figure out after their friend, who they've worked so hard on freeing for most of the story, has died. Besides, Kaworu's kind of lost the thing keeping him tethered for so long, just when it seemed like Rei was going to return his feelings. It'll be hard to come back from that (but given how this is a WAFF fic, he just might).

The solution? Well, their cousin, the King of Spain has his eyes set on approaching the still enigmatic kingdom of Japan, and what better way to do so than a marriage alliance? Cue our lovely redhead being shipped to Japan to marry with the son of a prominent Daimyo, said to be from a branch of their imperial family, one kind and naive boy called Shinji Ikari.
