As of the 2012 Rat Race, she was promoted to commodore in the position of Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations), Starfleet Command. Before that, she was Captain of the Excelsior during the Licori war and fought under Thuir in the Ixaria system.
A battletested commodore ready for promotion to Rear Admiral who has extensive experience coordinating lots of ships due to her time as Deputy CoS in Ops.
Liberator does sound a bit aggressive for a name...
It was not destroyed. It's still in service.Liberator does sound a bit aggressive for a name...
How about USS Liberty? The UE ship of that name got destroyed, didn't it? Are they planning to rebuild it or can we take the name?
Either that or Zarayet, but with the Empress running around, Emancipator or Liberator is a better message to send I think.Well you don't free slaves by being not-aggressive.

We could also save up EC for more FYM Ambassadors in 2321-2325 construction wave. There is also the option of paying PP for an EC recruitment drive this Snakepit. If you did want to push that option, then I'd recommend CREW4 to put to the EC, and we'd be cutting it close on our margin for casualties. I'm not going to vote for it at the moment, but I am considering it, and it deserves mention.
We already have a Renaissance named Emancipation.
