Well, that was fuzzy.
[ ] Assign Hitomi official Sayaka tending duty.
-[ ] Sayaka is so much less dumb with her around, it's a miracle!
They're basically a married couple, they just haven't realised it yet, come on, it's so OBVIOUS, why won't anyone listen!?
(But it
would be cute...
)
Wishing requires karmic potential, though. You'd think someone whose greatest wish is accounting would be disqualified by default.
Number Girl: "Aaaaah, I'm late, I'm late, I'm laaaaate! I just wish Boston roads weren't such a clusterfuck!"
Incubator: "Pleasure doing business with you!"
[X] Ask Mrs. Shizuki what their company does, for the purposes of thinking how your powers could be applied.
Generally liking all this, but a suggestion:
I think something that goes in the direction of securing a future meeting would be a more valuable line to pursue than what kind of business they are. If it's mentioned without prompting, fine, but I it looks better if we just Google it later or privately ask Hitomi. Business people like when you do your homework.
"By the way, Mrs. Shizuki, would you and your husband have time later this week to meet over lunch and discuss our broader goals and how our organisations can help each other? *out comes the day planner* Looks like I'm all booked for Tuesday and only have Wednesday early morning, but I've got a lot of openings on Thursday and Friday is wide open."
Then we need to sit down in the next two days and draft a business plan. Who do we know that might be able to help with that? (Given past trends, I half expect business development to be part of the usual middle school curriculum.)
[X] Before going, ask Homura about practicing enchantment in timestop.
Maybe suggest a longer-range field trip and do that in parallel? Heck, could do it right now if she's up for it.
Save Oriko for another day, though. I feel bad for them, but we can't just badger Homura constantly and expect it to change. Maybe we should consult Hitomi for advice on how to approach this one... she knows the whole story but she's also damn good at catching important nuances.
