Noteable: Kazusa being alive and well means we don't yet have to right anything that would have once gone wrong, but it also means that none of the SCIENCE there has even begun yet (except for Hijiri's grief heroin, more than likely), Kyuubey is still an active threat, and there are potentially a large number of magical girls with unknown capabilities knocking about the city still, so it would be foolhardy to assume that Asunaro is safe as such. We don't know if the Pleiades Saints are the dominant group in the city prior to the Anti-Incubator Barrier crippling their opposition, either, or what level of rivalry/enmity might exist between those groups.

Hijiri wasn't in our remit to prevent, Airi may not be an active threat yet, the Soujus are currently a wild variable-- a higher concentration of meguca in the city might make it harder for them to hunt, but they're specialized in taking down lone independents, and the Barrier isn't preventing them from recharging their magic.

What if we bring everyone along, including Madoka? That way no one needs be left behind to watch her.

As has been mentioned a few times, since the move towards shorter votes and more discussion, Sabrina has become much better at being sappy all by herself.

We don't need to micromanage Mami-snuggles; we do need to come up with a few medium term options so Firn can write a longer update. That's why @Karnewarrior's vote makes, IMO, a better place to start votesmithing: the other votes are already hitting the word limit while not providing much forward guidance.

I like most of it, but I don't think we need to rush to leave Oriko's place as soon as the conversation with Kazusa is over.

I strongly disagree with the removal of the directive to let Mami and Kazusa catch up. That's important and non-obvious.

I guess that, since we have a friendly contact, we're backing off from taking a full team? If Mami doesn't want to go I think we'll still need to figure out who's going, but I guess that that counts as "unexpected"?

Most of the difference between longvotes and shortvotes is that shortvotes get compressed to their key components, and maybe get a line or two entirely cut off.
