Let us have another Tally.

[X] Maligning Moulder: The greatest fleshcrafters and monstrous breeders and experimenters of the greatest (in their opinion) of all the Clans of the Skaven see now that their chance is nigh to finally scourge the lands above of those that could interfere with them. With all the potential extra space, their breeders could ensure that the man-things would never be able to dislodge the coming glorious lands of the Under-Empire. There is a chance they could fail, of course, that lesser leaders and foolish mistakes could doom them as they begin to make their move. That their efforts might be discovered early, would be even worse! And yet, such a thing just might occur. Clan Moulder's advance outwards from the Hellpit is blunted painfully, and early, forcing them to have to fight much, much harder to actually make successful gains in the War of Bitter Ice.

[X] Raindrops Falling On Their Heads: It takes a great effort for a Slann to maintain focus and integrity at the best of times to remain conscious. Especially when they are far, far away indeed from their places of power, the fulcrums and temples built upon the Geomantic Web. Even worse, should their holy palanquin be destroyed, and be made to touch the corrupt world upon a platform of crude branches and the like. Yet Ulha'up persists as best he can, even in a land where the powers of Chaos are so long-standing and strong. The Slann awakens, this time, more fully than he has in a long time, and sees that those who follow the Old Ones are beset. While he can maintain himself before slumbering once more, great ruin shall fall upon the servants of Chaos, great ruin indeed. Lord Ulha'up, Voyager in the Rain Drops of Eternity, manages to reach notable wakefulness in his sanctum, and casts his prodigious power against the forces opposing the Norse Dwarfs and the Uxmaegr for a time before he must slumber once more.

Let the North get breaks.

[X] With A Bit Of Time And Space

I'm gonna throw down a vote for the Elves. Not sure what the second vote would be, maybe another Fate Point perhaps?, so I'll just vote for one thing for now.

Happy quest anniversary to everyone.

It's... it's amazing that it's been 10 whole years.

And this quest's writing, story, characters, and overall capture of the thematics, aesthetics, drama, and vibes of Warhammer Fantasy, have remained strong all this long while, torroar. Some quests or fanfics, they start off a bit strong or they cover the beginning well, or perhaps they do well only for as long as the writer is aiming for a single scene or idea they want to cover; but then they flounder once they get past the Wave Arc or Lung Fight, or when they get past that single concrete event or story beat or scene the writer wanted to reach, and then otherwise never feel like they have as much vitality or their own voice and identity, outside of interacting with canon events or characters. But your quest and your characters have felt like they had a voice, a vitality, a presence on-screen, all the while. Even individual or one-off characters that crop up briefly, like that one Myrmidian guy we fought in a spar, or the Shadowmancer who showed up in one brief scene feeling chuffed that the Handmaiden noticed him or said a word to him, they feel like they're their own guy. Not necessarily like a 'hero of another story', as not everyone has a huge story involving them, but just... feel markable in some way. Like they help bring the world alive, make it feel populated and full of living beings. I don't know how you can keep pulling this off as you keep writing and advancing the story. Some people are only good if they have canon to contrast or play off of, or only if they have their concrete story or beat they aim for, and lose some energy once they get past a certain point. But you just... have a way with characters or voices or aesthetics or something. It doesn't have to be anything crazy like the crazy system you had at the start of the game with GenPCs as you said. You just have a knack for making things feel... I dunno? Lively? Notable? Something? Maybe it's a skill or knack you developed from the experience of running the crazy GenPC system, such that even after you stopped the crazy amount of rolling and emulating, the writing skills persisted as instinct or experience or something.

[X] Fighting Fate
[X] The Burning Bulwark of Love

I fell we will be needing both of these shortly. As much as stuff in the rest of the world may eventually become helpful, these two absolutely will right now and forever after. At the end of the day, this is the Fred and Family show, so I'd like to focus on that and let others do their thing on their own time.

[X] Fighting Fate
[X] Raindrops Falling On Their Heads

Rerolled for Frederick and Natasha both are really needed right now. Bulwark is helpful....but only with the torture at the moment.

The Norse dwarfs and the old one worshipping Norscans are on their own and seem to need the most help

Honestly I'm cool with any of the options picked.

Its all down to flavor for me. So the Bond and Dawi golems are my picks.

But our elven renters getting a boost, fate rerolls or watching a Slaan unleash a can of whoopass in Norsca are all great to.

Huh by that metric I guess I find the Skaven debuff in the Kislev free for all the least engaging.

[X] The Burning Bulwark of Love: It is a poison and an antidote, a balm and poultice and an open fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded. Love is many things, and in the case of Natasha and Frederick, it is a source of strength that has yet to be matched. In the distant past, elves were averse to performing the ritual binding their very souls together for all the pain that it could bring them. And yet it was done, and it is a strength beyond strength. Neither shall be the weakness of the other, ever. Though it was unintended, perhaps because of the usage of materials born of the Realm of Chaos to try and hurt or the influences of the Gods themselves, the bond has grown stronger still. The Soulbond Connection Between Natasha and Frederick Grows Stronger To Untold Levels, Protecting Both Parties All The More.
