Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Dammit, I didn´t know that... And poor musicians, they created an awesome soundtrack
Yeah the people who owned the rights for the movie soundtrack screwed him over for decades and it was only relatively recently that he finally got the credit and rights to the song "The Last Unicorn". I think he spent a couple years touring with the movie and introducing it to kids around the USA and Canada after he got the rights back....

Still, too little too late in my opinion given his age.

Edit: Also I like the idea of Mary enjoying the movie. It sounds exactly like the sort of classic she deserves to enjoy.

Yeah, I also really hate the sound of O'Brianvision. I don't like The Goose's Garden either though, I think that works better for children's programming. I don't see why it shouldn't just be LucasTelevision/LucasTV. Feels far more natural IMO.

LucasTV sounds alright to me. A shame we can't call it Toonami, but we need that for the name of a channel.

What about "The Tube of Ideas", "The Screen of Ideas" or something related to that?

So thinking it over, and I can see MysteryCPU's point in how donating a crap ton to helping out Romanian Refugees right after Joseph did what he did could be seen by the Soviets as helping out the Revolution and putting on a major target on our backs and our family from the KGB. So sadly I'll have to postpone that action. In it's place, I put appearing on a Game Show because that's something we've been holding off for years in-quest and it would be something nice and fun to further Bruce's celebrity profile.

As for the TV name, it seems there's a fair amount of division over the name. Some people are in favor of O'Brianvision or Goose's Garden, some people are really opposed to both, and there is LucasTV. Any definitive names that people are in favor of because if the popular sentiment goes heavily towards one then I'll change it?

Probably better not to name it for any individual person.

Most tv channels have traditionally had very bland descriptive names (heck, where I live the oldest ones are literally "TVOne" "TV2" and "Three". We used to have a "4" as well. They've shuffled the preferred way of Writing them a bunch of times, but they've always been said as either just the number or TeeVee(number)), and when they don't go that way they try for "cool" "snappy" "meaningful" names... Try way too hard and just end up bland and meaningless most of the time, actually.

The name needs to be easy to say and fit in newspaper/magazine/etc programming lists nicely

I still personally prefer just sticking with LucasTV. It's the simplest option and it's an extension of the Lucasfilm company brand so it feels like the most natural choice IMO. While I like Emerald TV in the sense that the green references both us as the Emerald Splash and Lucasfilm green, it feels very uninspired IMO. It doesn't feel very distinctive and it doesn't really extend our brand in any definitive way. I'd be fine if it ultimately gets chosen, but I'm not exactly in favor of it either.

Hmm. Alright, let's make it unanimous. LucasTV it is!

Just so we're clear, I'm not naming the Lucasfilms TV channel, I am naming the production studio that will make our shows O'Brianvision as a play of Lucasfilms. For the eventual channel I wanted to name it Lucas Channel as a reference to the Disney Channel but LucasTV works too. Since the consensus seems to be for Lucas TV I'll change it, but to remind everyone we're making a PRODUCTION STUDIO not a TV Channel.

Ahh. Missed that somehow. Ok, yeah, O'Brianvision is kinda awkward to say, but otherwise all the names sound perfectly fine for a production studio.

I mean, we have a theme going on here; Lucasfilms ia thw movies, we know that when they made their Videogame division OTL they called it LucasArts (which really fits), so calling our TV division LucasTV just continues a naming theme that was already there.
