I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Ah well, we knew we'd need to more permanently deal with the Fimir eventually. Guess we should just be glad we were informed before they got any of their nastier tricks off the ground. And hey, ought to be a nice chance to finally go to war alongside the elves. Might even give Snorri some useful insights for his Winds-related research.

Going to be at least interesting to go to war with the longears together. Really doubt Laequalys would leave Gloin hanging there by just informing him about the Fimir threat on Albion and telling him to deal with it after their adventures together.

It seems reasonable to conclude that as this is a minimum estimate based on the the current drain and corruption of the Network, that destroying Fimir Cities may add more time to the clock so to say. Also this is probably predicated on the quality of our Waystone Random Event Rolls, so our Retainers may indirectly be able to help here. @soulcake did destroying those three Fimir cities do anything to this timeline? Ah destroying cities did help, goodie.

I wonder if the warp rifts will coincide with a Storm of Magic. There were estimates going around that the next storm would be between Turn 55 and Turn 65 - or as people usually discussed it "late 50s to mid 60s" IIRC.

Also as this is a minimum, we should gain more time if the general RER rolls are decent.

Spoiler, but I did put the fear of god into several people for a while because I didn't notice a grammatical error and wrote 5 decades or less instead of 5 decades minimum, so I think its fair.

Yes, you killing three cities did push that timer back.

We can do either of those things as you say, but a shield plate sized for a dwarf is easily integrateable into the dragon's own armor scheme. I had plans to stick the Firing Crystal and backplate into the dragon's mouth anyway so this doesn't really change anything, except the usage of an Anvil Charge.

And frankly I already have concerns about using an Anvil Charge directly on Zon-Dum anyway, given the firing crystal requirements and sheer BANG the rune has. Plus now that I think about it using an Anvil Charge on the dragon's body might give it an extra pool to pull from when firing/recharging its breath weapon so it may not be much of an issue anyway.

Rorek seems like a canny Dwarf, Thungi choose him to be a Runelord for a reason.

I love seeing Snorri getting teased by his fellow Runelords, I don't know why but when it happens it's always great.

The Brana and the Ring they gifted Snorri Whitebeard was neat.

Whitebeard is dealing with such a headache and I feel so bad for the poor dude.

Welp shit looks like we are doing to have to go killing again since the Fimir are trying to open permeant Chaos portals and we can't have that.
 
There is a significant part of me that wants to dodge Dron and just get back to the research sooner OOC... but the chance to see some of Durin's work might inspire Snori, perhaps even in the projects he is now undertaking.
