Carrie is an innovator?
I look between the hallways with a stealthy eye, Mother's off buying some pillows with Todd, now usually that sounds suspicious to my head but I have a great plan to execute..
The best way to always remember my Overland Boyfriend, Bruce O'Brian, is to..turn him into a pillow!
My cheeks flushed in embarrassment as that thought reached my rational side, but I couldn't stop it as I ran out of the home in New York to search for the Shirt printer shop that I scouted with mum a few days ago while Todd was at the O'Brian residence. Just looking at the multitude of designs made me think of this great and ambitious plan to come back to him like a loyal lass rather than some strumpet in the streets in Los Angeles.
Without much prompting, I finally arrived at the Shirt Printer shop with not many people inside it. Knowing this, I quickly blitzed towards the counter while pulling out a couple of pillow cases that were inside my pocket.
"Hello," I said as I placed the pillow cases on top of the counter while the person manning the station looked at the cases with a confused look on their face. "Can you print this picture on them? Both sides too?" I ask them as I give them a copy of a picture of Bruce I have, the original already placed in a picture frame back at home in New York.
"Uhmm..ma'am we don't do pillow cases." The individual at the counter was about to continue before an older person from the counter arrived, took the cases, and headed towards the printing area. He sighed while placing a hand on their face. "That'll be..
fifteen dollars please." I give them the required money, before placing it in the cash register.
I had to wait for twice or more hours before the pillow cases were ready to be used, I also took back the picture when it was all finished.
I smiled with satisfaction and victory on my face as I discreetly ran back home, my smile only becoming wider into a grin of excitement.
It was only when I opened the door to see a smirking Debbie Reynold that dread erupted in my stomach, especially when she took a quick look at the pillow cases before I tried hiding them behind me.
"Is that a new fad, Carrie?" She asks with a teasing smirk as I bolted into the house, face red in embarrassment all the way back to my bedroom..all before I begin placing back the cases to their respective pillows.
N/A: And that kids..is how Carrie created the World's first Body Pillow. Because she wants to keep remembering Bruce in the best way possible
| I checked the inflation calculator to find the face that we would have $67 Million in modern day inflation if we have $10 Million in 1973.
