I am really against trying to bribe him with a honorary position or something like that.

Let's just chat with him. See what he thinks. Find out if he can work with others. If he even likes being a counselor. Maybe we can find out what he actually wants to do.
One thing that might help Malf is genetically engineering him a dragonpuss to oppose, but that might violate the "No Perries, ever" rule. Speaking of, could we get an action to induct the Danville Dragon into NOWCA?

I'm assuming you meant to assign Malf to this? No hero is assigned, I think this got eaten in the cut and paste.
malf is a councillor, he doesn't get assigned to actions but adds half his occult to all occult actions. the option just didn't get a hero assigned due to them being busy with other things

Research Agreement and Collaboration Track-Inator!

I figure if we're going to start making agreements and collaborating we should keep track of old options to get a sense of what is available.

Funtelligence's last foray into the world of soft drinks didn't go very well at all, with most people describing the concoction as 'foul', 'unholy', or 'proof that true evil exists in this world.' Sounds great to you! However, Trevor Trengrove's latest proposal took even you aback with its sheer triviality- he said that your two companies should collaborate to produce a perfect beverage! While this is a little odd coming from the man who apparently invented modern AI, the idea does have some merit, and it's not like DEI doesn't already make weirder...
This collab option sounds a lot more interesting now than it did back then. Not only from the concept of a "perfect flavor" from Fatherquest, but also because of the franchise wars - if we offer the perfect flavor when no other franchises can, that gives our restaurants a huge leg up in the franchise wars as some people pick their fast food of choice based purely on what drinks are available.

While I get the point, I feel Trevor may have other things on his mind now, given that when we last saw him, he was in the throes of a full-on mental breakdown...Also, i'd prefer to try not to just rip-off other Quests.
 
Ok, so I am gonna go and find the various different success chances of Nysticals Plan.

Bunkers with Khan: 55+11-20+21+12=79 without XP, 89% with. But since its a 90% and not 91%, the final bit of Crit Fail will still exist making it a max of 99% success!

Lobby with Kermit: 35+3+19+14=71 without XP, 81 with. Kermit with XP has a (101-(120-81))=62% chance at success!

Zaibatsu with QMS: 37+3+19+14=77 without xp, 87 with. QMS with XP has a (101-(100-87))=88% chance at success!


Dinosaurs with Roddy: 29+15+2+24+13=83 without XP, 93 with. Roddy has a (101-(140-93))=54% chance at success!

AI with Alan: Autopass

Retreat with Monogram: 16+2+24+13+2=57 without XP, 67 with. Monogram has a (101-(75-67))=93% chance at success!

Solanacae with Cruella: 24-2+18+17=57 without XP, 67 with. Cruella has a (101-(80-67))=88% chance at success!

Negaduck with Russ and Personal Attention: 38+5+5+10+5+18+17=98 without XP, 108 with. Furthermore he rolls twice. Russ has a (101-(145-108))=64, but then we take .36*.36=.1296. 1-.1296= .8704. Russ has a 87% chance at success!

Biomech collab with Doof: Way to many variables to reliably calc, but its a good idea to toss maximum XP on this. The rest depends on who Amara puts on it, if it's a Yokai action or not, and if her traits proc.

Jumba on Diseases with Interns: 38+20+39+30+3+5+10=142 without exp, just needs 700 XP to autopass!

Track Magical Creatures: 4+19+15+1=39, 49 with. Tobe has a (101-(85-49))=65% chance at success!

Map Leylines: 4+19=23 without XP, 33 with. Malf and Doof have a (101-(75-33)) 59% chance at success!

Silphium is a 75%, other 2 Corperate are 100%

Dennis has a (100-(250-214)=64% chance to finish his training!

The Quest Team Stats consist of

Also, someone should probably put XP on this too. The odds of success are high, but we want to get at least 10 over the DC to get something useful, and, uh....If it fails, things are probably gonna get dangerous.
 
Wasn't the idea of having Doof and Malf work together be for the narrative of giving the a way to talk (preferably over a success together) to ease things?
I mean, I thought that was the whole point of not stabilizing or hiring an Occult hero was so we could get a handle on Malf first

Question: What's the intrigue rating of the a high grade Dickins detective agency job? Because it it's higher than Russ's, then spending the money on that would be one way of reducing the risk of catastrophic consequences.
