Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

So I just researched THX 1138, and apparently we'd be Co-Producers with Francis Ford Copola and share credit space with him. Talk about one hell of a production debut.

That is if it can get out of cult status and into something more mainstream, something that might not even happen.

Hell, the film might even flop and George's and Francis' Careers might be ruined.

Edit: Lets just say I don't want that.

Hopefully, they like us being there.

[X]Plan: Oh Boy, Here I go Destroying Companies again

@Magoose Have you considered swapping out the modelling gig for having Bruce make a call to his folks? Considering the stress and the bullshit that he went through (seeing ten people nearby burnt alive in front of him was just part of it) I think that calling his folks and having a heart-to-heart would probably do him a load of good.

That said, let's nail CBS to the fucking wall. None of the directors or producers intervening to get Wayne to stop giving Bruce crap for no reason, the fact that there wasn't a no smoking policy on set for safety reasons (not just because of the presence of medical alcohol, but also fuel for the jeeps and the helicopters), pulling most of the writers halfway through the season, conditions so bad that McLean Stevenson (veteran of stage and screen for ten years) had to quit the show to admit himself to hospital for mental health reasons - and this is in the early 1970s when mental health issues are taken a lot less seriously than today.

This might not be enough to bring CBS down, but revealing what happened on set that drove all these shitty conditions could bring in more protections for actors and set workers from studios that are willing to risk lives for their profit - like CBS did on this production.

[]Plan: Oh Boy, Here I go Destroying Companies again:
-[]Lawyering up (Against CBS, with the Cast): You are going to get a lawyer, and then you are going to start litigation against CBS for their bullshit. What they did to you and everyone else was cruel, insane and abusive. Alan and company, save Mclean, who is still recovering at a psych ward, also want to raise hell to get what they want. Cost 10,000 DC:???
-[]Taxes and Tax Loopholes: You are going to dig into lots of Taxloopholes and see how little you can pay in taxes while being completely legal. DC: 30/60/75
-[]Boxing and Other Signs of Anger: You signed up for an amateur boxing tournament. You are angry and frustrated from the set, and you want to hit something. DC: 20/40/50
-[]Modeling (High Fashion): So you got a call from a photographer in LA, some no name. But that no name works for Gucci. And he wants you on their next lineup of products. And he needs you to model for him. Which is great… one problem, you have no idea what the hell you are doing. DC: 60
-[]George Lucas and His Quest for Film: George has written you another letter. This time, he wants you to become a producer on one of his films, THX 1138, which is about to begin production. He says he wants to be able to work with you. And he also has a problem. He's short 100,000 dollars and his other producers aren't forking over the cash. Cost 100,000 Dollars (Note if you do this, the Coogan account will note it, and someone might investigate, suspecting abuse.)

Also, its important to lawyer up and start litigation with the rest of the cast because it helps with networking and implementing them on your side. If we fold and they find out, we might be in hot water with some real talent that could open doors.
