[X] Plan: Slow and Steady Research with Double Recruitment
[X] Plan: Slow, Steady And Divinely Empowered Wins The Race
[X] Plan Redshirt v2 with AV

[x] Plan Redshirt v2

In general, I'm unconvinced that we'd be doing enough with Hugo Bann to justify recruiting him.

Edit: Also why is everyone voting slow and steady? I don't see the appeal.
It recruits the two Orders we want on-side, it does elf outreach, it establishes our local facilities, and it progresses one of our long-standing research interests (which we were originally going to do last turn before Boney pointed out that we might want to give the guy we just drafted something to do). Plans that work a little bit on all our priorities tend to do well.

Does the Ward of Frost and the secrets of the Waystone Trees really hold so little appeal? Can't believe it's getting overwhelmed by some random research option that most likely will do nothing. The Ward of Frost will be a fun action that great things for the project!

Is there any reason why we have to do it this turn? I'm sure the secrets that have waited 4000 years can wait six months more. Personally the reason why I want more humans on the project (Jade and Lights) has little to do directly with what they know and more with the political gambit of bringing humans thus showing the utility of the Empire. We are still turns off actually making use of anyone's secrets.

By the way... shouldn't there be an action about us fulfilling our promise to Thorek to put pressure on the Empire Dawi? Or is that done automatically?

picklepikkl has a point. It has a little bit for everyone, so many people will see their interests represented. It does simply cover more bases and therefore more voters. Wether it's a better plan… well I don't think so but that's how voting works.

The plan in question also brings two magic orders on board, also with coin boost.

Elves are a patient folk.

That said, this is actually the argument for bringing elves _before_ humans - humans are less patient than elves or Dawi.

So it is likely best to bring in local factions and Dawi first, then any humans, and then start.

Well yeah I am not saying it does not, I want those orders sooner rather than later because politics, my point is that unlike them the Ward of Frost can wait, unless one ascribes to the notion that the ageless fey cannot wait a few months.

Pretty much this:

Elves are a patient folk.

Sorry, but I really want to recruit them with the Gambler because I want them to be free and open with those secrets as possible.

@Boney do we have an idea what establishing a shadow HQ for the EIC would unlock in terms of additional capabilities or EIC options?

Sorry, but I really want to recruit them with the Gambler because I want them to be free and open with those secrets as possible.

They are the ones who absolutely do not need the gambler. Their boss is the one who recruited us to the project! It's basically an auto-success.

Hey that plan worked perfectly.

Better than we ever expected, even. This can only be a good omen.
Which one was it, and for what?🙂

Who's that guy again?😅

On the Winds as Gods thing and sapience.
Are we sure winds are not sapient?
And what kind of test could we perform to test it?
