Re Chaos vs Necromancy
The philosophies of both parties are indeed inherently opposed. Nagash wanted to rule over a dead world, one utterly under his control and without any space for rebellion, new thought or similar Chaos.
Night's Dark Masters, among other sources, does indeed confirm specific cases where necromancers and chaos sorcerers would be in conflict, for example vampires 'stealing' Khorne's bloody tributes when they feed.
However in other areas, I believe in the Tome of Corruption, it's noted that the Purple Hand, the main Tzeenchian cult, are trying to combine chaos and necromantic magic.
Metaphysically the undead are generally immune from chaosy stuff, particularly vampires, though the sources are often contradictory on this and I think it likely GW don't particularly care to clarify it.
Ultimately it comes down to a philosophical question. Can an vampire, necromancer, or otherwise life-challenged individual serve/work/cooperate or otherwise interact with Chaos? Yes certainly. This might be in legitimate cooperation, or it might be simply in trade or similar, like an exchange of dark grimoires, or this could be in some other fashion like a necromancer invoking some demons to distract their enemies.
These are relatively minor matters. Chaos hates stasis, necromancy is all about stasis. If necromancers got close to being able to resurrect nagash or similar they would be opposed by agents of chaos who don't want that to happen, and at the higher levels they're mutually exclusive.
Also I find this talk of heart ripping in quests quite funny as the questers in one of mine have also decided on a similar path.
