My suspicion, mostly unfounded, is that it's a proto-form of the Horned Rat. I considered it because it's the most interesting narrative possibility.

But here's some actual evidence though. First, one his symbols is antlers, and he's often depicted with them. He's also animal associated. On the other hand, we have the Horned Rat. The horn part is pretty important for it, so it makes sense it would show up. And if it somehow turned the city of Tylos into Skaven, perhaps they turned themselves into one as well.
The Horned Rat has horns, not antlers. Like ram's horns.

Fertility cult that predates the Empire, unknown to anyone else and is willing to kill to preserve the secret of their existence. And Jade Wizards do commonly carry sickles...

Is the Jade College a more benign cult of Ahalt the Drinker?
Looks up Ahalt the Drinker
That could be possible I suppose. Seems more an Amber thing though. Ahalt was primarily a hunter god. The jades are more about the growth of soil and life, rather than fertility in the sense I think Ahalt was. They seem the types to worship an Earth Mother of sorts.

I'd bet on it being Taal, possibly by another name. We spotted what may be Ranald in another guise, and the whole elven/human god correlation is well known, so it's far from impossible.
Mathilde discounted Taal, because Taal is a northern god. He's from the pre-imperial tribes, rather than coming up from the south. Generally speaking, the southern gods are gods of civilisation and the trappings thereof (trade, money, machinery) while the northern gods are gods of the wild and savage things (war, wolves, winter, hunting). It's a neat little bit of world-building that I quite like.

Horn-like protrusions from the head, that's the core part. The exact details can easily be smeared out in retelling. They might've mistaken the Horned Not-Rat for Taal based on the distorted tales about the gods of the northern barbarians.
I suppose, but it seems unlikely to me. I could see a distorted version of Taal making it to Tylos through, idk, the Dwarfs maybe? But I wouldn't expect it to be linked with the Horned Rat in that case.

His cultists make sacrifices for hunting, yes. But also for harvests, since they loathe Rhya alongside Taal. And again, this sect, if that is what the Jade College are, seem quite different from regular Ahaltites.

People voting for Dragon/Johann: if you are also voting for any of Kasmir, Eike and Cannal, you are effectively killing the Dragon/Johann vote.

Because Pan + any of those just pushed Dragon and Johann bellow the cut off line.

I could see it, it just doesn't fit with what I know of Ahalt, which is admittedly little. Always possible, though.

Wait what? IT is cool that people are voting for romancing somebody despite not actually wanting it as romance against QM wishes but it not cool to point that out?

No if there is somebody that is uncool, that is not me.
Regardless of your motives, it comes across as rules lawyering, appealing to the GM that certain votes aren't valid, and generally being a bad sport about things.

The GM just asked for exactly that though.

They are literally complying with a request BoneyM made. Why is everyone chewing them out for that?

Edit: Gender.

I meant it more in the sense of the HR showing up and going "Need some help? I've also got this cool bell!" and the people of Tylos going "A horned god? Are you that Taal guy? Well, that sounds just fine".

I fully admit it's speculation with a very tenuous base.

Because it's going "Look at the bad thing this person did, everybody", when it's a pretty minor thing that happened pages ago. If you absolutely must, PM Boney. Or you know, actually talk to them and ask them not to do that. Consider that fact that two people asked you not to do that an indicator that at least two people consider it an unpleasant thing to happen.

And you know, that's not the only bit of dodgy voting. But calling those out would also be uncool, and so I'm not doing it. (I was more explicit in the first draft, but that goes against the point a bit, so that's not here anymore)
