@BoneyM How much would quietly getting a mosaic or other form of decorative stone placement around the tower cost? Not something visible from down the mountain, but just a sort of inside joke only visible from the top of the tower, assuming the gyrocopters have no reason to be up that high.

This is going to sound strange, but I think we are on the way to turning Kragg the Grim into a radical, by a circuitous and very Ulgu-appropriate route.
- First it was make an anti-Chaos belt for a wizard
- Then it was make a sword at the very limits of dwarf ruencraft also for said wizard
- After that Mathilde called him 'comrade' and he was fine with it, though no dwarf would dream of it
- Next comes the Weapon of Runecraft unmatched since before the War of the Beard bringing the very fires of the Underneath to smite the enemies of the dwarfs... in collaboration with Umgi wizards
- In a few turns we will be handing Kragg a substance that will let him recharge Ancestor runes before every battle
- What do you guys think will happen if after it's been used a few times we ask Kragg with help recreating something like the box to make more snake juice?

Maybe it'll spur Kragg into trying to recreate the Rune of Sorcery.
Getting Thunder Mountain and what's left of its rune lore back is now a real possibility for the Dawi which means forging new Anvils of Doom wouldn't be an impossibility.
Just learn to move the mountain around like that one mad wizard dude moved castles. Then you can sell it like a migrating battle karak to the dwarves.

I really want to test-fire our Tower now. Seriously, we likely have both Collegiate Wizards and Runesmiths chewing at their beards in envy that they weren't part of this Wonder of the World. Also, we seem to have Algards permission to say Tower with a capital T now.
Hm. Random thought, how deep would this effect go? Could it penetrate a layer of stone? Because making a monthly sweep over a graveyard of vampire corpses would be a nice and tidy way to deal with any of the regenerating blaggards.

Of course he doesn't. He wins all his games fair and square.
With this project, I think we can cross figuring out how to make our tower fly off the list of long-term projects. I doubt any of the parties we are beholden to would appreciate us making off with one of Belegar's mountains, and the entire mountain is now pretty unquestionably a part of our tower.
So, is there any chance we could add an enchantment to The Tower that lets us sound off an optional warning gong/siren as we fire it? No real reason besides showing off. But as far as I am concerned that is reason enough.
