I'm also not a fan of contacting other IRCs yet - we have a lot of stuff to do tonight. Beyond that, I also think Onmur's vote overshares with Mika.

I also think that bringing up dead parents like Kai does is a bit... unfitting of the mood.

We don't know Mika well enough for me to trust her with international diplomacy on our behalf yet, and Homura would actually kill us if we made Madoka the first point of contact for dozens of unvetted magical girls.
 
I think we might need a list of Topics Only To Talk About In Privacy. We could stick it in the Planner.

Things like time loops and witchbombs are obvious, but everything else, I sometimes forget.

Since the vote seems more or less decided, I'll throw a tangent since we're in Mami's apartment right now:

A few weeks ago I remember people in the Discord, after lots of discussion and pictures from the anime, getting to the conclusion that the the main bedroom (the one Mami's parents used) it's currently hidden behind a bookshelf. Checking if that's true or not should be trivial with our grief sense so the main question is, should we do something about it if it's true?

As far as I know, Sabrina's intentions to take in refugees and build meguca support networks isn't restricted information in the slightest; in fact, we've deliberately asked Nadia to spread the word as far as possible.

Mami's canon apartment isn't canon to PMAS because Firn didn't know about it at the start and also because non Educlidean geometries.

If we want more intimate conversation of the family Mami came from, even asking about a happy memory has some chance to wander into trigger territory.
A conversation that doesn't spiral like that is a complex task, much like Homura's issues. If you want to go there, please put out a whole roadmap for
-what can go wrong
-how you want to get out of danger with her.
Certainly, if Mami isn't going to the cemetery, we aren't wise bringing that up. Walpurgisnacht can't really make them any more dead ATM. Understanding if she has a sealed room is easy, and correct. Using that understanding is a subtle thing.

I like the approach that @Torgamous intends for Mika. With the caveat that we should have her meet up with us for details. Therefore, a preamble conversation inviting her to a talk about money earning schemes and other topics is about as far as telepathy ought to go?

Wall-of-text earlier is intended to get us aware of the long term, not building it yet. I hope that we can benefit by "measure twice, cut once" planning. The pace of outside world stuff is picking up, and those choices have inertia. Waste is a dangerous thing and going down the wrong path is very wasteful.

Definitely no more IRC for one day, because we don't know how much more complex that will become. @Redshirt Army , I agree. Let's enjoy our time with Rionna first, and grind level a bit on other matters.

As for our dinner with Akemi and Noriko, we could also discuss the philosophy of our actions? Go back to the proposed Mitakihara Code discussions, find the parts that we went by quickly.
We also need to do a lot of listening. Far too early to hear horror stories, but we need to get some sort of biographic conversation, and we want to understand the personalities of these girls. Perhaps stories from before they met Kyuubey. We should also consider talking about basic goals for their next month, and introduce group enchantment training. Enchantment is a basic building block for civilized Magical Girls, we should consider it as the path to the future for them. Kyuubey supplies weapons, but not personal development.

First, you have to make both Sayaka and Oriko agree: Sayaka may not want to have anything to do with the megucas who burned her house, and Oriko may not want to see someone who can use her powers better then her.

Once past that it may be useful: both because foresight has been abused so far (and being able to rely on it again should be useful) and because it gives us an interesting data point on what happens when copying a power from a rejected wish.

... but Torgamous is right about the witchbomb. We have to wait until Sayaka learns about it (if she chooses to do so) before suggesting her to copy Oriko's power.
