Sakura wants to stick around so we don't upset or exploit Rin. Fair enough, no reason to refuse her. Though the urge to call her Miss Wild Casey intensifies each time she calls us that name.:V

Still unsure about that defense pact. Can't help but feel slightly reluctant about getting them involved in our problems but if you guys really want to go for it then... I get the feeling that we should really watch our words there. Maybe bring up that potentially dangerous magical girls turning up because we'll be flipping over tables. And if they ever need help or some kind of vague alliance, then we're here. And stuff. Maybe give Rin a thumbs up for doing well as leader in pretty crappy situation. This could also be decent enough time for permission to copy, I guess?

Although, what was with the whole part about Oriko negotiating over phone? I don't think that was actually in the votes was it?

She didn't really do much, though. The fight still happened and Akiko lost it. They were completely at our mercy in the end. She did stand up and take control, but it was already over by then. That's admirable in it's own way, but I wouldn't really call it de-escalating the situation. Giving her props is fine, but it needs to be something she can readily be convinced of. Otherwise it comes off as empty praise.

For Rin... I'm gonna have to re-read a bit, but I'd like to acknowledge how she stood up to her friends and did the right thing by the UG, and let her know the UG are doing much better. So she hopefully can feel good about that.

And, well, just asking her how she's doing. We asked about how Sendai is doing, not how Rin is doing.

The problem Sakura might have (and probably voice vivaciously ) with this is the-
You know what, I dunno if anyone's said it before, so I'm going to say it now.

Sakura is angry with us not only for the things we've done and said, but also for Rin's sake. The way I see it: from the moment we've lichbombed Rin, we became the Badguca in Sakura's book.
She's very likely Witchbombed, because she was the part of the group when the first act of the Akiko Tragedy happened, so she has very understandable hiccups with bringing up any and all subjects that will tank Rin's... screw it, I'm calling it Hope meter.

Look at it that way: if anyone had lichbombed Mami, for any reason, what would our first reaction have been? If the reason had been good, then we'd have forgiven the person in question, probably, but unfortunately, Sakura is not us. She also perceives us as the main reason Rin assumed the position of responsibility that is apparently very taxing on her.

Her second problem is our Witchi-ness. Duh, she's saying it every time she sees us. "Witch-girl" is not just an offensive nickname, though. Since Sakura likely knows about the facts of life, ( flowers and coobies ) the other fact that there is a Meguca, who is using Grief and generally behaves like a walking Grief Seed for all purposes connected with cleansing, grates her very much. She's likely quite paranoid of us, to boot.

So. Praising Rin might bring forth a bout of jealousy in Sakura, ( not necessarily romantic ) which she would try to rationalize and direct her conflicting emotions at us, with usual results.
This is my take on it, at least.
What am I even talking about, I'm not a psychologist, where the heck is our Therapyguca, Madokami-San?! Aaaaah

Hey, I'm with you. Go ahead, let's try to make Rin feel better.
Frankly, I think Sakura will have problems with us no matter what we say. At this point, we're just her person-shaped Berserk Button.
I would suggest acknowledging Sakura's burning hatred of us, shrugging and soldiering on, because there will always be people who don't like you just because you're you.
Buuut
People will probably want to Befriend her no matter what, for hugging rights if nothing else ( why would we have a whole column listing whether we've hugged the particular person or not otherwise? )
And hey
Maybe Sabrina will even succeed,
Maybe Sakura would even tolerate us,
With a slightly less bitter mien than she does now.

Miracles happen in PMMM-verse.
 
Whilst I appreciate that Sayaka and Homura don't exactly like Oriko and Kirika being out and about, I thought one of the main reasons we were bringing Yuki to Mitakihara was so that she could meet Kirika and get her anti-magic gizmos tuned so they don't wipe out her own powers when she uses them. Is that a thing we're doing later rather than now?
 
I'd like to log my position regarding extending the mutual defense pact with Sendai - namely, don't.

Walpurgisnacht overshadows that interaction to a very large degree, and being oblique about it is likely to earn Sakura's ire as attempting to "trick" Sendai into that fight.

When we bring anything involving mutual defense up, it should both happen later, after Sendai's current issues have hopefully settled a bit, and be straightforwardly presented as us seeking assistance for WPN without sophistry.

If you're looking for purified plastic, don't go to a landfill, go to the ocean and dredge it like you were an Orange Lantern as you fly over it, rapidly sieving the plastic particulate from it with grief fog.

At some point, I want to discuss frankly with Kyubey the method of grief collection and allocation. He clearly has the ability to create arbitrary transportation portals for grief. We need to ask how he feels about us stripping the grief from every witch in existence to give to him and the grief from every active magical girl in perpetuity as a realtime feed. Because if he's okay with that, we win just by giving everyone their own pet Kyubey, with their backs leading to us Khepri-Doormaker style for permanent cleansing and feeding into Kyubey. And then magical girls never have to fight again after we Clear Seed the last witch. Now maybe he WANTS magical girls as witches because his calculus tells him the short term harvest is better than compounding residual income - but it's something we should talk to him about. Because he wants to nom the grief. And we want the grief to not be here. We should be able to come to an accord.

At some point we'll need to talk about witch hunting with everyone, really. If nothing else, so we can look Mami in the eye every day. ;)
 
So, my first contribution to this thread, just for fun.

I don't know if anyone else has done this, but since I can't find anything on search, here is my take on a description for Sabrina's Doppel, based on Arkanian's Dedolere Witch card.
