Just for the record, I don't know if this is mentioned in a post I haven't seen yet, but your dicepost has two dice on neural helmets. I placed one die on plasma cannons (the Talons project) and one die on neural helmets.

Just gonna say, none of us decide what gets a reroll or not. Only the contest winners do, since it's their rerolls. What's worth spending a reroll on or not isn't up to anyone but them.

It should be noted that some of our incomplete projects actually exceeded expectations for the quarter.

The fortress town project underperformed badly (mean of 28 on each of 3d100), but the fusion plants did great (mean of 86.5 on each of 2d100). Reykjavik had a spectacularly average turn (mean of 47.6 on each of 5d100), and Enterprise had a significantly above average turn (mean of 60.2 on each of 5d100, and yes that's quite good luck).

My big disappointment was the freeze-drying plants, but at least we narrowly managed to get the aquaponics bays up and running, so our total food supply still increases noticeably this quarter.

According to Discord the nat 1 on the MARV fleet only means it's getting delayed by a quarter. (Much better than the entire Hub being blown up.)

So, can anyone explain the outcome on the Infiltration and Assassination dice? And are we expecting any battle rolls before next turn?

Assassination dice were d47, so those were the targets.
Unknown for infiltration.

Yup, that's in the results portion I edited into the mathpost:
Results:
+4 Logistics
+4 Capital Goods
(+10 Captial Goods, -16 Consumer Goods for duration of war)
-4 Labor
-8 Energy
+6 Food
10 Resources per Turn
3 points of Yellow Zone Mitigation
(20-25 resources)
-1 Health
(+1 Labor per turn)
+5 Political Support
(3 Points Yellow Zone Mitigation, 15 RpT) STARTS Q3
+Havocs (autocompleted)
+++ Pewpew
+Boom
+Bote blueprints
+Orbital drop capability

Freeze drying is probably one of the least important of the multi dice projects so if it drew some below average rolls in exchange for above average in stuff like enterprise than I am more than happy to make . Nuuk even made some extra progress above average, though the nat 100 will be bigger there. But yeah Enterprise and Fusion smashed it out of the park

It's just a MARV fleet, it's not worth it.
I mean, it depends on how big the consequences are. Having the whole fleet get wrecked wipes out like five or so dice of investment on our part and costs us 15 RpT and +3 Yellow Zone mitigation per turn we were expecting. Just having the fleet not able to do anything this turn, or even get knocked out for an extra turn after when Giddyboy's understudy, the smart one, somehow manages to stop a MARValanche and inflict some meaningful damage, is pretty small potatoes.

So a Nat 100 is nice, a nat 1 not so nice. I think those Erewhon rolls were good overall?

Dice going to dice. Also curious how the infiltration and such rolls went.

Edit +6 to friendliness is great, -1 to stability on the other hand not so much.
Erewhon's friendliness is on the low side, but Erewhon's stability is why they're gonna die at this rate.

...I believe we have been XCOMmed.
What? What do you mean? We've had a pretty average distribution of rolls, and one of the most important projects of the entire plan just had a critical success.

We gave 1 services die to start a life support program. What we need is something like Boston 5 that gives us a bonus to AI research.
Yeah, but that's an insane gigantic megaproject on the same general scale as the stabilizer constellation. And good as it is, it doesn't pour out Capital Goods per die invested on the level Nuuk does, and we need the Capital Goods, globally.

Erewhon is still alive, but if we want it to stay that way, we need Boston V ASAP.
...It would be tough.

We have about 12 Capital Goods from stuff now in the pipeline, ignoring anything wrecked by the war.

We'd need 2400 Progress (roughly) to finish North Boston.

If we did absolute maximum effort in Heavy Industry (12 dice per turn), we could expect an average of about 960 Progress per turn. We'd probably get North Boston Phase 5 after two turns of back-breaking effort and one turn of needing "only" about 500 or so Progress.

So we'd have it, at the earliest barring extreme good luck, in 2060Q4 after a heroic civilizational effort.

Now, when that did hit, +32 Capital Goods would come pouring out, which combined with the +12 or so from projects that are already finished (Nuuk Phase 2) or due to complete in 2060Q2 (Reykjavik Phase 4, Enterprise Phase 4), would actually clear our Capital Goods plan goal.

But holy shit would that be a harsh regimen.

While we could probably spare 1-2 dice to finish off the current phase of fusion plants, especially if we throw Administrative Assistance at one or the other project... We would probably be committing to tiberium power plants for our Energy needs (North Boston itself would need -8 Energy, plus anything else we do in Q2 and Q3).

It'd be really big, like really big. I'm pretty sure we could still hit our space Plan targets, but the military would not enjoy being starved of Free dice entirely during a major war.

Fortunately, there was a reroll cashed in, so we probably can afford to just put 8 dice a turn into Boston instead of 12 to get it running in time.

So...

We are going to have a absolute ton of new deployment projects pop up next turn I imagine with all the development we just got done.

Are we going to be able to plan for them or will we just have to wait and see what shows up?

I imagine new shipyards are happening at the very least but we are probably going to need tiberium power and fusion plants to get through most of it.
