We should probably invest in those sensor systems and stealth disruption tech. It would probably help deter all these assassins (at least the hidden ones.)

NODRiotQuest's negative mechanic is having zero clear information. They don't get nice neat indicators, they gotta dig through updates, spreadsheets, and contradictory perspectives to understand what's happening.

(Note: NODRiotQuest is a Negaverse, not an actual quest)

Yeah, but Nod only actually gets a shot at someone who's part of our organization every few years or so, and there have to be SOME mechanics in play to keep us from stacking bonuses up to the sky forever.
 
Our problem isn't just that the dice rolls were bad, it's that we kept getting bad rolls on big projects that require several hundred Progress, and good rolls on stuff that has no overflow (like the Aurora factories)
 
As I understand it, the rolls are: Stability, Friendliness, and Effectiveness respectively for the AI.

So it's an unstable and poor AI that hates us.

Given that we brought it into this world as its unstable and glitchy mess, I think that hate is pretty understandable.
