Just want to say that I will not vote for any plan not including the treasury investing in Bogatyr.
I did it once last turn for us to be able to activate all the dice, but one turn delay is the limit for me, especially since we now know that Scrin are still active in our solar system.

In that case I'd recomend modifying Simon's plan by moving a die from New York to Bogatyr. His plan comes with the 10 spare R needed to move a die from 20 RpD to the 30 needed for Bogatyr. And depending on the effects of the Nat 1, that might be a decent choice.

The real problem here is that people and groups outside of Treasury are trying to tell Treasury what to do. Clearly. Don't they understand our Vision? Our Purpose? They lack our Rational Clarity on the matter. The peons should be happy we're giving them fungus bars, rancid gym sock cardboard noodles, and bare concrete block apartments! Why aren't they happy???

Plan Goals
Looking to Finish:
Complete Isolinear Chip Foundry Anadyr- 83%

Making Progress:
Complete at least one phase of Space Mines- 38%
Complete GDSS Enterprise- in progress (7 dice)
Consumer Goods: 6 Points - 4 points this turn 70% for another 2 points
Food: 16 points in reserve -2+ 65% for another 2
Processing: 280 points 50 this turn
Complete OSRCT Phase 4- 98% for phase 3
Complete at least one more phase of URLS production- 23%
Complete last remaining Escort Carrier Shipyards- 40%?
Deploy Mastodon- 30%
Deploy Crystal Beam Industrial Laser- in progress (4 dice)

Future Turns:
ASAT Phase 4- Q3
Complete Karachi Planned City by end of Q4 2065 - next plan

So did a small bit of adjustment- moved Erewhon over to Fusion so I could slide a 3rd free dice into agri which in turn means moving further in the strat food stockpile. It is easy enough to flip on the extra large food stockpiles next turn but by sliding another die into construction efforts it puts us in easier striking range of finishing the food plan goal Q3.

I do consider an agri security review to be vital because if we have corruption and/or NOD infiltration/sabotage being able to deal with it now in Q2 instead of letting it potentially derail things Q4 would be critical. Also it has been the one that has had the longest since the last security review.

No, the real problem here is you straw manning half the thread.
Could you please not do that?
Because many people are actually discussing in good faith, and your trolling is not welcome.
…and if, by any remote chance, you were actually serious…
Well, then please quote someone actually saying some of your drivel.

Because what I have actually seen people posting is, that yes, we did neglect the agrarian sector and should fix it, but perhaps not while we are still struggling to fulfill plan goals.

KD is Kaneposting* again... but also being sarcastic about how a lot of people frequently do seem to think that the desires of the populace are a minor concern. Even though GDI is a democracy.

...but yes, marking RP/sarcasm is something we all need to be better at.

I'm being sarcastic because I am exhausted by the idea that somehow, abstract "plan goals" are more important than feeding our populace. And I do see a lot of posts in this thread that use a lot of words that amount to complaining about Parliament giving us feedback that isn't glowing praise and worshipping the ground we walk on.

hey @Ithillid I kind off had an idea about the dice cap , there is a soft cap to the total number of dice we can have to keep the game manageable for you , so I though what if instead of increasing the number of dice when we cross a mile stone that calls for it like creating more AI , we instead get an increase the quality of a die from a d100 to a d200 and so on and so forth as is needed, that way the number of dice stays the same but the quality of the dice has improved letting us do more with them while keeping things manageable

Well, I am fully ok with the Parliament not worshiping the ground we are walking on.
The actual roasting we got over a not yet fulfilled plan goal more than an year before this goal was due, was borderline and did not smell like clean politicking, but was something that happens in real life as well.

This said, while you may be tired of people being too protective of the treasury, I am getting tired of people pushing the food problem out of proportion, up to and including suggesting neglecting plan goals to immediately increase food diversity.

Yes, food diversity is a problem, one we can and will solve, but one that can wait one year without exploding in our faces or actually harming the citizens.

I do think we need to do the Surveys to see what the actual situation on the ground looks like. It would be a good way to see the scale of the civilian side problems we have

Very good idea.
Luckily we did exactly that this very turn.
To be pedantic, we did the Economic Census this turn. Which will help us know about what issues are currently impacting our civilian economy, and how we can best help it improve.

Civil Satisfaction Surveys let us know what our people are liking, what they aren't liking, and what they need. As an example, we currently have enough aquaponics that more of them don't improve the QoL of our people (in the theoretical case there were no more refugee waves), and we need to pursue other food production options if we want to increase the variability of their diets.

Yes, I had actually already edited my post.
We do need to do civil satisfaction surveys, this said we had some feedback saying that the NOD refugees saw these surveys as loyalty tests, and were not at all truthful, so we should maybe wait at least a little bit till they settled somewhat, but I agree we should do the surveys as soon as feasible.

I suspect that we are going to be working on eggs next turn. I'd really like to start working on the ranching domes by Q3 though.

We can get our stockpile goal basically met with a few free dice next turn, or at least close enough that we can comfortably fit in the remaining stockpiles over Q3 and Q4 with little trouble. I don't think we'll be doing much luxury production in Agriculture in Q2 but once we're firmly on track for the stockpile target then any slack left over goes into vertical farming and/or ranching domes.

And before you @ me about being an asshole bureaucrat who hates people being happy, Parliament just jumped down our throats about the food stockpile. It's not like that target is a disconnected technocratic policy, in fact it's the exact opposite, the technocrats want to ignore it while the politicians are screaming at us to do it. There's genuine mass concern and cultural trauma over starving to death so I still don't think we can really get away with ignoring the food stockpiling target. Once that's hit though, yeah, time to spin up the chicken mines and cheese factories.

So what's the actual issue of the FMP doing well? At last reallocation their demands to were entirely about pumping the civilian economy full of goods, tools and subsidies. This seems pretty in-line with our coming pivot actually.

[] Plan Sketch: Meat and CRAP for populace and politicians
-[] Infra bla bla bla
--[] Emergency Caloric Reclamation Processor Installations (Phase 1+2) 0/160 2 dice 20R 72%
-[] L&CL bla bla bla
--[] Chemical Fertilizer Plants (Phase 2) 276/300 1 die 15R 100%
-[] Agriculture 4/4 +3 Free +Erewhon dice 125R
--[] Vertical Farming Projects (Stage 2) 65/240 3 dice 45R 89%
--[] Ranching Domes 0/250 3 dice 60R 42%
--[] Freeze Dried Food Plants 181/200 1 die 20R 100%
--[] Extra Large Food Stockpiles 1 Erewhon die auto

Food: Start at +26. +4 Fertilizer, +6 Freeze Driers, 89% +4 Vertical Farming, 42% -4 Ranching Domes, -16 XXL Stockpiles. Total: +16 to +24.
Food Reserve: At +12, need +16 more. +5 CRP Phase 1, 72% +5 CRP Phase 2, +8 XXL Stockpiles. Total: +25 to +30.
Political Support: +100 because we'll both fulfill our political plan goals and make everyone happy with more meat in one fell, technocratic swoop.

I foresee no issues with, or controversy from, this plan whatsoever. :V

It's just a quick plan sketch. I can't include everything in it. And while I can see the inferno gel's use as a hot sauce additive, I'm not sure how we'll feed people electric cars. :thonk:
No no, we do this like Christine. Feed people to the cars. Much more efficient. H:ZD and The Matrix taught me people are great fuel and excellent batteries.
