Damint Five you are the least dangerous to us and you go down due to shoddy maintenance see this is why my character was angry at Alex for her not documenting the work she did on her Mobile Suits. Now we just need to kill the unstable newtype and we can move on.

Physical Appearance: He used to have brown hair but he started to prematurely go bald and now he has lost most of his hair (Covers this up by wearing a field cap everywhere) and has a thick mustache. Stands at 5'6 ft tall and has a pale complexion.

As the Crew Chief in charge of the maintaining Alexandra Stuart's Mobile suit Jenner oversees it with almost stereotypical German efficiency. Well, When he is able to prevent Alexandra from attempting to do the maintenance herself. While he appreciates the fact that Alexandra is very knowledgeable engineering he still very annoyed when he finds her doing the support crew's job.
When he is not doing maintenance, filing reports or is teaching new support crew members the skills/tools of the trade then he is usually chatting with other crew members in the barracks.
Misc Notes:
1: He is happily married to a women by the name of Kelly Gerhardt (Her maiden name was Fernandez) who works as a historical researcher back on earth in North America and has a pair of twin sons who's names are Dieter Gerhardt and Alfredo Gerhardt, Both of whom are 8 years old.
2: A rumor persists that he was once part of a small time heavy metal band, He vehemently denies having ever been part of any band and will fight anyone who says otherwise.

Physical Appearance: Javier has traditional Mexican features if of the lighter variety. He has thick dark brown almost black hair along with very dark brown eyes. Due to minor sight problems he has to wear glasses though they are not large or thick lenses. He stands at 5'7 ft tall, stocky, and has light brown complexion.

As one of the maintainers stationed on board the Sky Keeper, he and his crew have a somewhat mixed relationship with Mobile Suit pilots. While he is always one to follow regulations about proper address and respect towards the officers he is a maintainer at heart. He cares little if he offends someone with his frank attitude. He speaks plainly and doesn't like wasting effort to make the conversation more pleasant. He gets along very well with Pixie due to this and Shin doesn't seem to mind him as long as he does his job well. Captain Roy is an easy flight commander to deal with and privately Javier thinks his pranks on new members are hilarious, so he plays along whenever they happen. The relationship with the newer members is not as good unfortunately while none of them are bad or hostile per se he does find them irritating. The latest member of the team Thunder is the least troublesome of the lot. While she can break just about anyone given her undeniable strength the issue is she seems to have difficulty understanding other most of the time, and it makes dealing with her tedious but understandable given her nature. The new guy GK is only a problem because he has a guilt issue because of his father. That makes him so eager to please that while nice tends to get in the way when maintenance is being performed. And the last of the new team the most irritating of them all. While Alexandra is undoubtedly a skilled pilot and engineer due to her young age, she seems to have a bit of a superiority complex. She also has a habit of performing her own work on the MS she is assigned. This might seem like she is merely trying to help, but it is, in fact, making the jobs of the maintainer harder. Due to the new nature of MS combat and use a lot of the doctrine and maintenance procedures for MS are being made as things go. In order to make this possible every issue and repair, as well as periodic inspections, need to be fully documented so that proper practices can be created. With Alexandra's constant actions and the fact she tells no one about them until much later, this means backtracking and adding her details if she even remembers them which she doesn't because "It was just something easy it doesn't matter." This has led to a less than stellar first few impressions with the maintenance crew under Javier. Luckily she finally seems to have gotten the idea when both she and Javier had a very tense conversation on the importance of the schedule and reporting procedures in use. Since then she has been keeping her work and repairs properly documented to add to the data.

The Vanguard is called MGU-79C Pixie Vanguard unless this is the only prototype they made of that model?
Right at this point, she is enraged trying to talk her down even with trained Newtype abilities would be difficult. Which means we have two choices shoot to kill and try and get her away from Shockwave or hope she hates us more for taking down Wolf 5.

One thing the Federation's good at is putting prototypes on the front line.

Well then it is a good thing the 2nd has it then. Since prototypes tend to have higher stats then production models it should be a very effective unit. Even if it did just lose the ECA from a heathawk of all things.

So we're in a Elpeo Ple sorta situation where the original is very much so an awakened newtype? Regardless this should solve any doubt that Alex is in fact picking up things.
The red is emotion Alex is picking up from those on the battlefield, and Teal is what I'll speculate is a third part whose the original of Wolf 06. Sigh why does Zeon of every variant get up to shady stuff?
For the record if Wolf 06 is a Newtype taunting her seems like it might backfire as entering a quasi awakened state is likely to give her rerolls meaning killing her will take forever. Therefore pointing out that her buddy is alive, and seeing as she quite clearly care about her squad-mate perhaps she should surrender allowing her to go see if immediate medical aid will save her squadmate. We're also obligated to care for prisoners as the situation allows.
Like even if it fails at least it might chip away at her mono-focus making it less likely to you know get rerolls.
Better than the 2nd option, but still Newtype... unless we're dealing with clones of a newtype that aren't Newtypes themselves.
This is liable to get Shockwave killed.
The best option as in the former case she is already inclined to go after Alex, but the latter is preferable in an attempt to avoid a worst case scenario. Because given what absolutely livid Newtypes have pulled off... I'm not particularly inclined to the risk when we're on a timer.

Your plan did win because most of us only cared to flank them and the other voted to try and talk to her. So that is what happened and your free action got thrown in. It is literally the first thing Alex says over the airwaves.

He fired his Beam rifle at the monster in human skin again. The beast dodged away yet again, laughing like a child on a sugar high. The demon turned toward him and charged, Gamlin did not move, he didn't need to. Thunder slammed into it from the right, shield first, plowing it through the wreck of an enemy MS.

Don't worry buddy just keep racking up the steady kills each battle and you will slowly realize that you are a very skilled pilot after all. Considering how many enemies there were in this battle if he hasn't made Ace yet I am calling shenanigans.
