With the new deposits on the moon we are going to want to start mining. It might be smart to have Zeon help with the mining as well. One resource each since both sides will need them. It also gets the mines up faster. More lunar titanium means we can increase the number of stronger MS and fighters hulls in use. And the helium 3 means that we can expand power supplies to everything.

And the nat 1 on the way point station is bad since it slows down our expansion and plans for Mars.

The Alex is almost done but it doesn't matter much for us. We are unlikely to get a new suit anytime soon and I don't think we should. We want to hone our skills with normal MS before we upgrade to a new type suit that would serve as a crutch at our current level.

The lighthouse is still going slow but there is nothing else we can do but keep working on it. The fleet expansion speed it offers is just too good.
 
Alright so I watched the Gundam compilation trilogy against, and man Gihren comes off as even worse than how I remembered him. Like I remembered the Hitler comparison, and him not really caring about his family, but man he just comes off as power hungry among other things.

For anybody who doesn't think the the Conservative League suddenly collapsing the dude literally called the party he was backing the "The Alliance for People's Deference", and Degwin is notably not in support of the party backed by his favorite son. Like I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up asking Char to look after his son.

Research Actions
[X] Project Alex- Unrelated to the up and coming ace, the goal of this project is to build a Mobile Suit designed for Newtypes (DC 70 > 69 Bare Failure) The Prototype is finished, however, safety concerns have delayed production until they are ironed out.
Huh I wonder if any of those concerns involve the MS itself, and if we can have Alex test them out with a personal action.

Regardless I imagine a mobile suit designed for Newtypes is helpful for grinding skills to that level as you need them to operate the MS properly.
 
We aren't a test or experimental squadron so it makes no sense for the prototype to be sent to us.

And no we don't need a new type MS to get up to the skill level. In fact it is a detriment to skill growth because the MS will do more of the work meaning that we aren't actually developing our skills.

New type MS are best assigned to pilots that already have developed their skills to a high point so they can make full use of the MS and perform at higher levels.
 
@manofjay I don't think we ever got a answer on if the hangers could get revamped to account for the size increase of the ships compared to original Gundam universe? Doubling the capacity seems more than reasonable. Since even our smallest ships are bigger than the biggest pre OYW battleships and carriers.

Hanger sizes in general will be bigger, but the size thing isn't quite true. With current size categories the Magellan could be refitted into a serviceable cruiser

If you are sure but that still leaves our ships very undersized but that was always going to be the case. Even the SDF is 1200 meters or so I think. We just need to build a shitload of them and a bunch of reaction warheads for missiles. Carriers and Missiles boats are going to carry the day in any fight we have.

We should be able to get Stonehenge started soon. And once we have gotten more than half way done with the SDF we should have enough data and experience to build human versions. After all in Macross the much less advanced earth was able to start building a few before the original was even done.

We might also want to create the ARMD-class Cartier to connect with the SDFs and increase the amount of MS and fighters that can be brought into a fight.

We might also create COFFIN equipped fighters to improve the performance of our non MS pilots.
