(TZ Crew roll Success, DC Maxed)
(The Lancelot is in range of Zeon Radar)

I swear, did they make every engine roll? Because that's what it felt like.

[] Our Salvation
[] "Don't you see?"
These two together just reminds of Matias Torres from Ace Combat 7.

[X] "Do you believe in fate?"
[X] Throne of the Gods

[] "Do you believe in fate?"
[] Throne of the Gods
[] Dinner with the devil
[] Our Salvation
The first option rings a bell, but I can't think of from what exactly tbh.

The second one might be an ace combat reference.

The only devil that comes to mind would be Gihren Zabi, and the question is who would be having dinner with him. Char, or the EF president come to mind, but it might be someone else.

For the four one I'll take Newtype clones for 500, or failing that Zeon making a super-weapon to take out loads of ships.
[] House Cleaning
[] "Don't you see?"
These two are new options.

House cleaning presumably involves either Zeon, or EF clearing out traitors. The former seems more likely imo.

The second option seems something an individual would say while proposing a crazy idea. Alternatively something something Newtypes blah blah blah.

[X] "Do you believe in fate?"
[X] "Don't you see?"

I'm voting these as I'm curious who is the person behind the statement.

[X] "Do you believe in fate?"

We already did dinner with the devil it was dinner with worst Zabi.

Dont forget to include damage dealt to the Lancelot, just because we didnt focus on enemy mobile suits doesnt mean we failed to contribute.

Also, down to the wire but we pulled it off. Glad we didnt end up hailing Zeon early on.

"Do you believe in fate?"
"Do you believe in fate?"

Char turned to Garma in surprise, "That's a deep question coming from you old friend."

Garma rolled his eyes in response, "Very funny Char, but I still don't have an answer."

Char looked thoughtful for a moment, before shaking his head. "No, not anymore."

"Do you believe in fate?"

Nobody turned to the Prime Minster they had served most of their life, about the past the had lived, how they had been saved by it. They thought about how they had earned their name.

"Never mind," Enrico interrupted with a wave of his hand, "it's a stupid question, now about those reports..."

Nobody kept their answer to themselves.

"Do you believe in fate?"

"Do you?"

Larry leaned back in his chair at at Shin's reply, "I guess I do."

"Why?"

Larry simply shrugged, "Don't have a better answer."

Now Shin was curious, "Answer for what exactly?"

"Anything," Was Larry's simple reply

"Do you believe in fate?"

Amuro had decided that if his father wasn't going to do anything about the visiting mercenary he might as well learn more about the so called "Devil woman."

Cipher's reply came with a snort, "Fate is what ever you take from life with your sword, no more, no less." Cipher then turned back to Amuro, "and what of you?"

Amuro took his time searching for a reply.

"Do you believe in fate?"

Tiv's question had caught Alex off guard but she managed to recover quick enough, "I think fate is simply the paths and roads that life lays out in front of us, and that it falls to us to choose our own."

"I see."

"Do you believe in fate?"

Char had been getting ready to depart for the mission to crush the TZ cell that had been harassing for the past two weeks when Lalah had stopped for a quick chat.

"That's an odd question, where did this come from?" Char wondered if Garma had put her up to this as a means of checking up on him, Garma sometimes meddled to much for his own good.

"I Just," Lalah started, "Just have been having a strange feeling these past few days."

Char's face turned serious, "Like the one you had before the attack on Granada?"

"No! Nothing like that, thankfully."

Char sighed in relief, At lest this means that this mission wont be some kind of disaster. Char then thought back, back to when Garma had asked him the same question four months ago, and if that answer had changed.

Char then smiled at Lalah, "Yes, I think I do."

It's actual quite fun writing for this Char, any ways "Don't you see?" is next

Fate is pointless.

Either it doesn't exist, or it does. Either way, it is something to be disregarded because if it does exist there's nothing you could do about it any way so don't worry about it.

"Don't you see?"
Ensign Scirocco resented his current post. High Captain Dogatie had seen fit to assign him to be the liaison of the Feder-former Federation captain who had been supplying the so called "True Zeon". Scirocco was not look forward to relaying their latest orders.

The High Captain has ordered that all support to the organization known as "True Zeon" cease. The High Captain didn't want to risk losing the badly needed supplies that the Federation was giving almost free of charge. Scirocco was not looking forward to the captain's response, not because he feared that the captain would be angry. No Wrath was far to simple of a response for the captain of the Cronus. The whole ship was just, strange for want of a better term. Scirocco wondered if the rumors about the survivors of the Saturn expedition were true.

Scirocco passed thought the last set of doors between him and the Cronus' captain and laid eyes on the man himself, the captain's eyes locked on a view screen. "Your report liaison officer."

The Captain of the Cronus never called him by his name, only by his 'rank' on board the ship. Scirocco hated it. "New orders, we are to cease all operations immediately."

The Captain finally turned to face Scirocco, he was wearing that same smirk as always. The one that said he already knew everything he needed to about you, Scirocco hated it.

"Ah," came the Captain's reply, "I've been expecting that one for awhile. But I can't help wonder about the High Captain's motivation."

Scirocco's face turn up into a snarl, "Pick your next words carefully."

The Captain waved his hand dismissively "Nothing treasonous liaison officer, just some musings. Such as if the High Captain wants to be friends with the Federation then it may have been better to never have gotten involved with True Zeon in the first place, but!" The Captain voice seemed to joyfully rise in pitch as he once more turned to his command screens, "If he was hoping to damage the Federation without lifting a finger it was a stroke of genius!"

Scirocco felt a growing unease as the Captain steps forward gesturing at various readouts on the screens, "this will make True Zeon desperate, they will feel the need to to do something drastic."

The Captain then turned to face Scirocco again, the girn on his commanding officer's face beyond manic. The shock of seeing it forced Scirocco to take a step back but the Captain continued on, "Don't you see?" Millions of lives are about to be snuffed out in acts of senseless cruelty! Don't you see!"

The frown that fell onto the Captain's face at the liaison officer's silence was more terrifying then the smirk had ever been.

"You don't, do you."

It really was Captain Torres! The madman of the Alicorn himself.

And honestly, he is likely 100% right. Cut off from their outside support, their end is only a matter of time, so, by cutting them off, they will go for a string of desperate but devastating gambits. We are gonna be in for a rough ride the next few turns...

ROTFLMAO How... Incredibly meta of you Alex. Careful or the fourth wall might break.
