Well based on past experiences it's not an extreme.
suddenly dragon is rarely a bad move
d4s are usually "There are four possibilities, which are not directly related to how bad they are"Not sure how much to read into this, but we got a 3 on a 4 sided die, which might be Ranald, while the opposition got a 2 on a 6 sided die - 6 being the holy number of Slannesh, who was canonically responsible for Vlag vanishing.
So... cautious optimism?

d4s are usually "There are four possibilities, which are not directly related to how bad they are"
d6s are usually "This is a roll of how intense this thing being rolled is"
"I would smite'em from right where I stand, but alas, stone is an excellent insulator of magic."
We also had a case where 6 would've been a bad result and 5 was the best (when we stole from Mork/Gork).Yeah, that's the other interpretation - d4 to determine which Chaos God (representative?) we're dealing with, d6 to determine the level of smitery happening.
I'm a little sceptical of that since Boney said he'd pinned down what was happening in Vlag before we investigated, so shouldn't the chaos god already have been determined?
D6s are intensity rolls. Theres such a thing as too intense. We also had a case where 6 would've been a bad result and 5 was the best (when we stole from Mork/Gork).
tho.... if ???? is deathwings ability to respond...We also had a case where 6 would've been a bad result and 5 was the best (when we stole from Mork/Gork).
