It is kind of amazing that Dieter the 4th somehow managed to avoid causing a mortal grudge with the dwarfs. Did they all just avoid him for his entire reign?
I assume that because humans are more willing to talk bad about their rulers then elfs were, they were warned that he was a piece of shit.

and so avoid committing anything that would cause to big of a grudge.

"Okay, let's start with the basics. 'Menlui' means 'water'."

"Water. Got it."

"Also 'life'."

"Well... I guess that kind of makes sense..."

"And 'majesty'."

"..."

"And 'weakness'. And 'sudden rain'. And 'thunder in distant mountains'."

Fuck the stupid elven language and whoever invented it, how hard is letting a word have just the one meaning?

They could be. It can be hard to tell where trade leagues end and noble dynasties begin when it comes to those two provinces.
They should really get someone to look at that paperwork.
House Weber has no such difficulties, legal distinctions between the commercial, trade, Noble, industrial and landholding identities and enterprises are made amply clear. :V

Hmm the amusing thing about the Elf language here is that their magical language in the tower of hoeth explicitly goes the other way. Anoqeyen every word has a very specific meaning as its used to describe things exactly so there is presumably huge bloat for things that are just slightly different.

Ironic that you'd start your sentence with a word that simultaneously means "have sex with" and "I hate".

Also one that can, dependin on context, be transital verb, intransitive verb, adjective, adverb, adverb enchancing an adjective, noun, part of a word, or as nearly every word in a grammatically correct sentence.

This variability means it can be used to describe aggression, agreement, amazement, annoyance or apathy, and that's just the possibilities starting with the letter A.

Let me reintroduce (ah ah ah) you to 'irregardless'.

Warhammer Elvish might be worse, but i haven't seen the lust that common/slang english has to place modifiers on words that make no sense on the examples shown yet, just because they sound neat, and then pretend the word means the same thing.
